In 2014, Kelly Wright became the sole owner of Burnett Hodd & Jenkins, an opticians that has forged its place in the Sidcup community since 1980. Absolutely amazing opticians, I can not praise Wright Eyewear enough. Incredibly friendly, highly professional, knowledgable, understanding and accommodating, the whole staff are just an absolute pleasure to deal with. Mr Hussain is far and away the best optician I have ever met, he dealt with my issues in a calm, reassuring manner. I would highly recommend Wright Eyewear.

During lockdown I knew my sight was deteriorating upon a local recommendation I decided to book an appointment with The Wright Eyewear Company. Here I received a bespoke service , a comprehensive eye exam confirming my suspicions yes you guessed it I needed new glasses ! In fact two pairs , hence this is when the problem started so many lovely frames and so many different colours took an hour to decide ! And even then I wanted at least another three pairs !! Today I picked up my snazzy new glasses and the world became clear, even spied a pair of sun glasses on the way out with my name on them

My personal view is that The The Wright Eyewear Company is for anyone looking for an excellent optician with great customer care. As you enter the shop you are warmly welcomed and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I was first introduced to them years ago by a friend, before they changed their name, and have recommended them to others ever since. Their glasses may be a bit more expensive than others on the high street but the quality of the service and their glasses makes all the difference. I have in the past tried other opticians, to cut cost, but I have ended up going back to them

A massive thank you to the Wright Eyewear Company!
We first visited on finding out that my five-year-old son needed further eye investigations earlier this year. I wanted to be sure that he got the best test available and I was not disappointed. All the staff were amazing from the get go at putting both me and my son at ease with the prospect of him needing glasses. With a very thorough eye test it was confirmed not only was he very long sighted but he also had a lazy eye. I think this is upsetting for any parent to discover but the emotional support offered was reassuring. The next bit....picking

Visited today, with my husband. Sitting in the attractive practice, we received the same superb professional help and advice we have always had and, in addition, Kelly and her delightful team shared family news and jokes with us - we are treated like old friends. The service, from initial eye examination (with all the bells and whistles provided) is second to none and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Wright Eyewear Company.

Been coming to this optician for years before Kelly took over. However, the service you receive now is second to none. Staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Complimentary drink on arrival and for the service received, value for money. Kelly and her team made me aware of my daughters short sight at the age of 4. She's now 16 and I wouldn't contemplate going anywhere else. Her opticians always explain what they find and make you feel at ease. Kelly is an enterpenuer.
