Collett Opticians

It's very rare that I write a google review. In this case, I felt it was a must. After buying my first pair of glasses online and being unsure if they are correct or not, I called Collett on a Friday and was given an appointment the following day. Simon very kindly checked over my prescription, checked my glasses and offered advice. All free of charge. The whole experience was outstanding. I wondered into this opticians needing some advice.. from the second I entered the shop to be greeted by the friendly receptionist and the most helpful optician.. they booked me an urgent appointment and I have never experienced such brilliant customer service. Not only was I given 5 star treatment I was given full and accurate information from them.. thank you so much for keeping me calm and thank you for reassuring me when I needed it! 5 stars all the way

Have been going to Collett’s since I was 10, I’m now 51.
Great service at both shops, first from Jimmy & then Michael and all staff since.
I now take my own children and at one regular check-up for my 10 year old at the time, they found he had a torn retina & sent us straight to Moorfields.

I have received excellent service over the years from this lovely family run independent opticians. I always get a great eye test regardless of who I see and all the staff are friendly, helpful and informative. At a recent experience with my daughters first pair of glasses they were so helpful. Special mention goes to Simon who is extremely knowledgeable and obliging. It's better to support a local established family business rather than the big corporates.
