Services
We value your smile here at Wetherby Orthodontics, so we like to maintain a happy, harmonious practice. If you are happy with our service please recommend us to your friends, colleagues and family. If you have any issues you'd like to discuss please contact Anna Kerr or Carly-Ann Slater at the practice who will explain our complaints procedure.
My treatment has been fabulous-at all stages Megan has explained fully the procedures and treatment plan. I'm so pleased with my new smile and wish i had done it in my twenties! I have been so pleased and impressed with my treatment and especially the care and attention to detail, which has been exceptional.
For any advice or treatment an assessment is the first step. If you are concerned about appearance of the braces, discomfort or costs do mention it as these can be taken into account when planning your orthodontic treatment. We offer free initial video assessments, by appointment.

Specialist orthodontist Megan Hatfield will discuss your problem, explain how orthodontic treatment works and show you examples of treatment, as well as outline the possible length of treatment and costs.A full assessment (children or adults) includes a discussion of the problem, a full orthodontic examination, photographs, x-rays and a 3D oral scan to enable a full treatment plan to be drawn up.
There are many different types of braces, each suited to a particular type of problem. The best type of brace for you will be advised by the Orthodontist depending on your teeth and your personal needs. Clear aligners, for example Invisalign, are clear removable braces which gradually straighten teeth when worn all the time.
We are very happy to provide orthodontic advice to any child from about the age of 7 onwards as their teeth and jaws develop. This is important if teeth are missing or out of place or if the bite is incorrect. Some problems, for instance a reverse bite or prominent teeth (overjet) are ideally assessed before the age of 10.
