At The Brace Place we have worked hard to create an environment where you feel relaxed and comfortable when you come in for your orthodontic treatment. Mr Guy Atherton is the Specialist Orthodontist and founder of The Brace Place. He believes 'there is no substitute for your natural teeth' and will work hard to craft the smile of your dreams.
The team at The Brace Place are a lovely bunch. We work together for our patients to ensure they don't just get high quality, professional treatment, but that they also enjoy their treatment experience. After qualifying as a dental nurse in 2010, Tracey joined The Brace Place in 2013 and completed the NEBDN orthodontic nursing qualification.
We believe every smile can be beautiful and our team is committed to making your orthodontic experience an enjoyable one. Mr Guy Atherton, our Specialist Orthodontist and The Brace Place team are highly experienced in treating patients with: metal and ceramic fixed braces, Invisalign(R) clear aligners, and hidden lingual braces.
The practice is situated on Holme Lane, just off Cross Hills Main Street (A6068) and there is a regular bus service between our village and Keighley, Skipton and Colne. The nearest rail stations are Cononley and Steeton & Silsden, approximately 2 miles and 2.5 respectively from the practice. Further information about train times can be found HERE.

This includes a series of digital records (impressions, X-rays and photographs) and confirmation of the cost of your individualised treatment plan. From the information you have provided so far, it seems that Invisalign (invisible aligners) may be the best option for you, but we will need to see you for a full assessment.

I got my Invisalign fitted yesterday, the nurses were really friendly and welcoming!
They made sure I knew how to remove my Invisalign and put it back in before I left.
They also talked me through the dental monitoring app and made sure I knew how to take my scans.
And told me to give them a call or a message if I need help with anything.
100% recommend!

The team here are fantastic. I have always received a warm and friendly reception upon arriving for my appointments. Both Emma and Kayleigh are so friendly and polite. Guy and his team are skilled at what they do and really make you feel at ease. I had my braces fitted by Tracey who made the experience enjoyable. I was super nervous but the whole process was so quick and easy, it was over before I knew it! I have had 2 appointments during Covid and the team are taking lots of precautions to make it safe for everyone who attends. I would recommend the Brace Place to anybody thinking of Orthodontic

After just 10 months of Invisalign I am absolutely delighted with my treatment. I literally can't stop smiling! Guy, Tracy and the rest of the team are incredibly professional, helpful and friendly. Thanks to their expertise I have the straight teeth I also wanted, even at the age of 42. I never thought it would be possible in such a short space of time. The Invisalign braces were comfortable and easy to wear and best of all no-one EVER noticed I was wearing them! Every single penny was worth it! Thank you to the team. After debating getting adult braces for around 5yrs I finally decided to go ahead in 2016 and 22months later I have had my braces removed and could not be happier with my new straight teeth.
