Using a range of modern as well as tried and tested techniques, I can help you quickly change negative responses and feelings associated with a wide range of issues. If you are reading this, it is highly likely that you or someone you know is suffering from mental or emotional discomfort or there is an area of your life that you want to change (even if it is only your golf score!)

You are one of a select few who have made the decision to seek help to change, and as a result you are highly likely to succeed! Many people continue to live their lives with a monkey on their back and just accept that it's "just the way I am". For others the fear of change is greater than the pain of the symptoms (at the moment).

In my case, this driving force came as a result of my own desire to find a solution to my own mental and emotional health problems, which had been an issue that I had kept hidden since my teenage years. I eventually realised that I needed to understand the workings of the mind in order to get better and so my study of the human psyche began in 2008.
The initial consultation is a no obligation confidential chat held face to face at my clinic, or over the phone/Skype if you prefer. It gives me the opportunity to get to understand what it is that you want to address. I will then be able to tell you if I can help you and we can agree on the most appropriate style of therapy for you.
Most people have at some point in their lives suffered with anxiety or fear for short periods of time, perhaps when taking their driving test, buying a house, changing jobs etc. If you suffer with GAD, this feeling seems to be with you from the moment you wake until the moment you go to sleep, or at least for a large proportion of your waking day.
A habit/behaviour is a skill by any other name. Something that has been practiced over and over so many times that it has now become part of your unconscious behaviour. This is why it is difficult for you to try and consciously change it. There is always an originating cause for the start of the behaviour or habit, but fortunately we do not have to go looking for it.
Anyone who suffers with a true phobia knows that it is a very different animal from a straight forward fear (not to belittle suffering from fear). The difference? If you have a phobia, the intensity of the feeling of panic is at the level where as far as your mind and bodily responses are concerned, death is imminent unless you get away from the thing that triggered your response.
