Flempton Golf Club
Flempton Golf Club was founded in 1895. The course condition and outstanding green complexes are excellent all year round, with the course rarely closed during the winter months as the sand-based land drains well. For most of the year the course, is refreshingly uncrowded, with access prioritised for the membership.

Close to the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, and sitting adjacent to the Lackford Lakes Nature Reserve the club has maintained its traditional ethos and is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in the Eastern Region and one of the best 9-hole golf courses in the UK. Martin Ebert of Mackenzie & Ebert course architects has been engaged to provide a masterplan for course development in the years ahead.

Flempton is like a golf course that has been frozen in time. The beautiful course and excellent clubhouse is a testament to the staff that keep it that way. Friendly staff are always there to welcome you and the course all year round is a test of accuracy and precision.

Great 9 hole course. A must on a still sunny day . Challenging course with some suitable hazards ...

Only 9 holes, but a lot of history at the club. Plenty of bunkers and plays a true distance. Shot my best round there, so lots of positives to it :)

Great course. It may only have 9 holes but when they're all as good as they are it's a pleasure to play them twice.
