Our main aim is to make golf fun and accessible to everyone especially families and juniors. The facilities include The Smuggler's Bay Adventure Golf, a pirate themed adventure putting course which includes holes that feature a ship wreck, a volcano and a cave and waterfall. Our Smuggler's Bay Adventure Golf is unlike any other mini-golf or crazy golf you have ever seen and is fantastic fun for all ages.

Play Golf Report

It's easy to play golf at Stonham Barns. The lovely short 9 hole golf course at Stonham Barns is ideal for all players and 9 holes can be completed in around an hour. With seven par 3 holes and 2 par 4 holes it's longer than pitch n putt and offers a challenge even for the most experienced players.

Junior Golf Report

Stonham Barns Golf Park has been running a junior programme for all ages since 1997 with weekly coaching sessions and 8 junior tournaments each year. We have seen thousands of juniors start their golf here and some have done on to achieve great things with their golf including a number of England Internationals.

Junior Tournaments Report

For 20 years Stonham Barns Golf have been running junior tournaments for youngsters to experience playing in Junior Golf Tournaments in a friendly relaxed environment. The Stonham Barns Junior Golf schedule will include monthly events this year. These junior competitions are open to all youngsters, girls and boys aged between 4 and 15, whatever their standard or ability.

Junior Results Report

12 year old Jasmine Points from Bury St Edmunds Golf Club won the 19th Stonham Junior Players Championship with a very good score of 37. She won by one shot over her 10 year old brother Johnathan with Imogen Potter in 3rd place. In the age categories Tobias Maynard won the Under 8 trophy, Johnathan Points won the Under 10 trophy and Hayden Beckett won the Under 15 trophy.

Junior Results 2017 Report

Alexandra Rock, a 13-year-old, who travelled from the Czech Republic to compete, chipped and putted the final green to win the 2017 Stonham Junior Players Championship title by three shots and retain the title she won in 2016. Her score of even par 29 was the best in recent years and only bettered by Alastair Hall's score of 27 in 2003.

Enjoyed Adventure Golf with the kids. Good value for a family activity. Areas of the course could do with some TLC though and if there’s more than 3 in your group it may be worth seeing the next slot could be blocked so you don’t feel rushed by the people behind you. We let 2 groups ‘overtake’ us today. Overall, fun experience and would go again.

I played footgolf and it was everything I could want. At only £10 for 18 holes with free ample parking and a full day of time slots available it was great. It sits at the back of a full and fun area packed with cafes, shops and an amusement park. They handled the COVID precautions very well.

Great fun visit and great value too - we took an hour and 20 mins to get round the 18 hole course and one of my grandsons was thrilled to get a hole in one. Will definitely come back :)

We played Pirate Smugglers Golf & had a great time. The course is well looked after & entertaining. Easy to book & Covid safe from arrival to leaving. We played at leisure with people playing the course spaced out well.

Pirate themed 18 hole Mini Golf was really good fun! Cost £14 for two adults so although I wouldn't rush back straight away it's definitely worth another visit. The Par for some of the holes was a bit inconsistent with some under and some over the expected but it all evened out as we both got a total of 52 and 56 out of a total Par
60 (excluding a few "practice shots" on the trickier obstacles!!)

I visited Stonham Barns Golf Centre with a group of friends recently. We are all new to golf but were made to feel very welcome and the staff were most helpful. The course was perfect for beginners and was really well maintained. We shall be visiting again very soon.

GETTING BACK ON TRACK :)
(Round played: 02-Nov-2015 - Score: 84 Handicap: 23.9) Having spoken to the owner about the problems discussed in my earlier reviews I'm delighted to say that they are going to separate the Foot-Golf from the course. We played today for the first time in 15-months and, albeit a little damp, I'm delighted to say that this little course has lost none of it's charm.
