We are a caring and fun Pre-School run by highly qualified staff where children learn to approach the world with curiosity, resilience, adaptability and a strong sense of who they are. Anyone passing through the centre of Ramsbury during term time will be welcomed by the chorus of young voices playing, learning and having fun!
If you stop and take a look, you will see children working together building dens, risk-taking on the log trail or potion creating in the mud kitchen, while staff (usually down on the ground) support learning and development through purposeful interactions. Providing a varied, interesting and engaging curriculum is something that as a Pre-School we take very seriously.

Services
Each member of staff brings passion and expertise in different skills including Forest School, Special Needs and Speech and Language. Our Deputy Head Teacher, Frank, steps in for Emma as required. As a qualified teacher Frank brings with her many years of experience in teaching reception aged children as well as her passion for learning and cooking.
Our voluntary committee bring a huge range of skills and experience to the pre-school, providing us with a dynamic infrastructure. We are always keen for new members to join the Committee, so that parents and guardians can be directly involved in how the pre-school runs. Do contact Emma, the Chair, if you are interested.
We know starting Pre-School is a big step in every child's (and parent's) life, and finding the right place for your child is a big decision. We love visitors and encourage everyone applying to us to come and have a look around. Core Pre-School hours are the hours in which the focus is on getting the children prepared for school.
We offer wrap around sessions to all children with our Rise and Shine Breakfast Club and After School Club. These sessions are open to everyone, not just those who are, or have been at the Pre-School. Our Rise and Shine Club runs Monday to Friday from 8-9am. It is available to children from 2 (funded)-6yrs every day except Mondays which are just for Rising 4's.
To arrange a visit or talk to us about anything, please call our landline during preschool hours. There is an answer phone on this line, so do leave a message if there is no answer (we're probably just up to our elbows in modelling clay). The mobile phone is used on visits out of the Pre-School, and if required to send group texts to update parents on any possible Pre-School closures.
