Great Torrington has been identified as the healthiest place to live in Britain according to the University of Liverpool. We offer a self-catering holiday where relaxation and enjoyment of North Devon are on offer. The health and safety of our guests and staff is always our number one priority and to keep everyone safe, we've introduced several hygiene and safety measures which you'll see in place when you next visit.
Services
We are a small, quiet and relaxing holiday park surrounded by 20 miles of public footpaths all of which are accessible from the park. We are fortunate in being just a short distance from a variety of first-class pubs and restaurants, catering for all tastes and budgets. Greenways Valley is a family-owned business, and we take a great pride in offering a friendly, personal service to our guests.
Within 1 to 25 miles of the holiday park you will find some truly wonderful activities. Whether you are into walking, cycling, water sports, amusement parks, gardens or museums there is something for everyone. You'll find something to fill a whole day or simply a few hours. The Tarka Trail is a 180 mile, figure of eight walking and cycling trail that follows the route travelled by Tarka the Otter in the famous novel by Henry Williamson.
We are ideally situated as base for you to visit many of the beautiful places North Devon has to offer. We recommend a visit to the beautiful village of Clovelly and the seaside resort of Westward Ho! Plenty to explore: Pannier market, Victoria Park, shops, cafes, restaurants and so much more. A village known for its beach, plenty of places to eat and for being a good family destination.
Leave at junction 27 (Tiverton) and follow A 361 towards Barnstaple. At South Molton turn left along the B3227 for Great Torrington. On the approach to Great Torrington, turn left down Borough Road immediately before the zebra crossing by the brown caravan site sign and follow this road, turning left before the school down Caddywell Lane.
