Services
Bourne Veterinary Practice is a modern veterinary surgery. Our facility is purpose-built and this allows us to offer you and your pet the best quality veterinary care possible. A dedicated team of nurses and receptionists supports our team of veterinary surgeons. Each one of us knows how precious pets are to their owners and we are all passionate about providing the best care for yours.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
At Bourne Veterinary Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation services, we offer aquatic and land-based treatments. Bourne Veterinary Rehabilitation serves patients across Kent, lead by our Small Animal Veterinary Physiotherapist, Avril Coleman. Our high standard of treatment and care, as well as good communication with you throughout, ensures your pet is carefully managed in order to fully aid their recovery.
At our cat clinic, we aim to make your cat's visit as stress-free as possible and create an experience for them that feels calm and safe. We have designed a clinic specifically for cats with lots of bench space so cat cages don't need to be placed on the floor. The Clinic is air-conditioned throughout and benefits from feline friendly pheromones being constantly released to help relax your cat after a potentially stressful journey to us.
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

Bourne staff stepped in as Christmas Angels to save two cats who had been referred to the RSPCA for help. One of the cats needed to have his macerated tail amputated. Thanks to Bourne Vets, and with help from Cats Protection and RSPCA, the boys can now look forward to a safe, long and happy, warm and comfortable life, ahead of them. Every trip to Bourne Vets has evidenced a kind and professional suite of staff, who love their job and work as a team to look after all the animals that come into their care. Thank you.

I can not praise Bourne vets enough, they are immensely compassionate and caring. Recently we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our beautiful cat goto sleep and their kindness and understanding was so helpful. Thank you to everyone at Bourne vets for being there for us.

Sadly this vet let us down hugely. 3 cats put down within months of each other. 2 of the cats were failed by them drastically. One died after taking her there to be told there was nothing wrong. Subsequently an ear infection not spotted spread to her brain and she had to be put down. The other cat underwent hundreds of pound of investigative surgery and we were told that there was nothing wrong. We could either amputate her leg but there was no reason for this as cancer could not be identified by their expensive but not thorough tests. She was put to sleep last night by a vet who said it was probably
