We have a dedicated and experienced nursing team comprising of seven RVNs and one student nurse. They are fully trained and encouraged to develop their studies so that they are always up to date with the latest methods of caring for your pet. It is advisable to examine your pet on a regular basis at home. If you have had your pet from a young age it is very important to get them used to being examined from the start. Grooming your pet is a good opportunity to check them over and also strengthens the bond between owner and pet. Gently insert the bulb of the thermometer into the rectum with a twisting motion.
As your pet reaches around eight years of age their lifestyle needs start to change. Our nurses offer a free health check with advice on nutrition, exercise and will teach you how to check for signs of ageing. Come and see one of our nurses after your puppy's/kitten's first vaccination for free advice on feeding, training and socialisation, handling, flea and worm control, neutering and much more!
