We are a small animal practice in Kent. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Plunketts Veterinary Surgery has been caring for Ramsgate's pets for over 40 years. We are a well-established RCVS accredited nurse training practice. Plunketts provides excellent animal care for all companion animals. Our new building is designed to exceed expectations and create an experience for clients and their pets, like no other vets in the area!

We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01843 591899 and you will be advised what to do next. MiNightVet Canterbury is our preferred emergency services partner. They are a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours.

Very friendly but flea treatment doesnt appear to work. Having tp spray carpets. Consulted them about a rash but scratching hasnt entirely stopped and probably linked to fleas. Bit of a vicious circle. Paid for consultation, shampoo, rash tablets and flea tablets and further visit £210. Still got fleas!

My dog Snickers escaped and was taken to plunketts vets. Snickers is especially anxious without people he knows present and had a stressful day. Plunketts truly looked after Snickers, and made him feel comfortable. Tilly displayed exceptional service, looking after, feeding treats and caring for snickers as well as informing me kindly that he was missing. I can't thank Plunketts enough for making snickers feel comfortable and looking after him.
