Dell Quay Sailing Club is a relaxed, friendly sailing club, a happy place for families, couples, and individuals to enjoy in the sheltered waters of Chichester Harbour or the Solent. The club itself is in one of the most picturesque locations to be found in Chichester harbour.
The harbours 22 square miles of water offer a variety of destinations and of course easy access to the Solent and the English Channel with all their possible cruising destinations. While most activities, sailing and social, take place at weekends, members have access to the club at all times. The main club building houses a bar, lounge area, galley and changing rooms with hot showers.

Services
Enter Chichester Harbour, and follow the channel in an easterly direction, passing East Head (popular beach and anchorage) towards Itchenor. Once in the Itchenor Reach, continue easterly through the main channel of moorings until the channel widens once more. This area is known as "Chichester Lake", and you will see Birdham Pool (the first commercial Marina ever built in UK) and Chichester Marina on your Starboard side.
Approximately 370 dinghies can be berthed in the dinghy park (when boats are not in their berths the spaces can be used for car parking) and on the Quay, where there are designated spaces for larger dinghies and racks for Toppers. Duringthe winter months, normally October to April, the quay is cleared of dinghies and used for winter storage of cruisers, 26 feet and below.
The club provides berthing facilities for dinghies and other craft belonging to club members only. Sharing will be limited to 2 craft per berth, and each craft will need to pay an additional fee as advised by the Berthing Committee. Berths are not transferable in the case of change of ownership of a boat, nor is sub-letting permitted.
The Club pontoons and Balcony are provided for the benefit of all Members and Visitors to the Club. They are to be used for loading, unloading and for short term stays. Members should always be considerate of others who may also wish to use the facilities. The General Committee may refuse permission to use the facilities if the rules are not adhered too.
We are a certified RYA Powerboat training centre and RYA certified Dinghy Training centre. We provide a range of training courses throughout the year both on and off the water for both Juniors and Adults, beginner to advanced and including such subjects as RYA First Aid, RYA VHF/DSC, RYA Diesel Maintenance etc.

Love dell quay ... love it more if visitors can engage their brains and legs to park considerately ,not park on the yellow lines happy to take the hit of a parking ticket just because walking seems too much .
Please remember you could be that person needing the ambulance so dont block the slipway access .
