Thousands of years of experience, analysis and practice has produced the modern Chinese medicine practiced today by China Health. Today it is recognised throughout the world and many hospitals now include therapies derived from its traditional techniques to treat their own patients. Chinese medicine uses an effective combination of herbs, acupuncture, massage and other techniques (such as hot cupping) to restore the body in to health and harmony.
Most importantly it lacks the bad side effects that many conventional drugs and treatments produce. The above treatments may be used individually or in combination as prescribed by China Health. Services
Our treatments combine carefully selected Chinese herbs as medicine to suit your needs. Up to 15 types may be used together from a total of 300 different herbs to treat any particular condition. Each prescription is designed for a patient's particular requirement. These herb combinations would be taken either as a solution or in tablet form, as directed.
Hot cupping is a very effective process where an inverted jar is placed on the skin to produce a vacuum. This promotes the free flow of Qi and blood throughout the body, hence enabling the body to heal. We use hot cupping to treat a wide range of ailments, and it may be used on its own or in conjunction with other treatments provided at our clinic.

Excellent treatment for my lower back pain and related hip and joint ache. The doctor has magic fingers and gets right in to where the problem lies. Very sensitive to what hurts where and how to treat it. After the third session of acupuncture followed by acupressure massage I could do what had been impossible for months and put my trousers on standing up! They should have this on the NHS.
