General health check is performed where possible so potential health risks can be detected. I have always loved animals and like a magnet find myself drawn to them. I have been very fortunate to have been surrounded my entire life with a variety of different animals including a wide variety of breeds of dogs, all shapes and sizes ranging from the Long-haired Dachshund to the Great Dane.
I achieved my first City and Guilds dog grooming qualifications in 2004 at a local college. This sparked my passion for the industry but it was in 2014 when I opened my very own salon an even greater passion would ignite within me and expand my potential into this amazing journey that is unfolding before me.

Please see first above picture, once this area had been clipped it revealed fly strike (maggots eating at the flesh). This dog was referred to the Veterinarian and made a full recovery as it was caught just in time. As stated due to the reasons above the skin layer under the matt/matts may be raw and inflamed and can be irritated by the clipping process.
Monty had a problem with his paws and chewing them. The vet gave us cream and said wash them every time he had been out. We went three times to the vet but he wasn't getting any better. He had lost his spark. I took him to see fay and told her he didn't like his paws being touched. Fay called me and said he was not right he had lost his undercoat and his skin was like rhino skin.

The staff are so lovely and helpful, their handling of the dogs is so kind and professional, and they deal with any nervousness sympathetically - it is clear to see that the welfare of the dogs they groom is their top priority. I am a local dog walker who was trying to help my clients' dogs get the care that was needed after a long gap due to lockdown, and they have gone above and beyond to help! Could not recommend them highly enough!

On ariving to the salon my mastiff shandy was a nervous wreck, as soon as she walked in fay was amazing, calming, new the ways of her immediately then Shandy was relaxed & happy to have her pamper day!
Fay is very professional, and a complete perfectionist - nothing passes her eye!
My shandy smelt and looked amazing & with her little diamond dog grooming ribbon on her collar she looked just as impressed 😍

4 years ago, we took our furry family member to Fay for a freshen up... And 4 yrs on he still loves going... He adores Fay, and always comes home smelling fantastic, and fabulously clean... Like his a different dog... I would highly recommend this company to friends and family.. Fay really is a diamond.. Xx

Amazing service! Treated my old girl so gently and made her look amazing! Even fitted in my youngster during the busy show season for a spruce up.. was her first time at a groomers and was very kind and reassuring. Highly recommend ... would not go anywhere else. Long haired Weimaraners are unusual but she knew exactly what to do and other owners have travelled to take their dogs there on my advice.. all extremely happy
