I am Claire Winchester, a professional hypnotherapist who is fully qualified and insured to practice. I've already worked with many different people with a variety of issues and I have helped to find positive changes in people, helping them change their outlook in order to achieve their goals.

I specialise in helping people overcome emotional difficulties (anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence issues and habits), and helping people to increase their motivation.I myself suffered from panic attacks, insomnia and generalised anxiety when I was younger and tried many different medications and treatments in order to find answers and gain knowledge and find techniques to help.

Hypnotherapy may be quite alien and a new experience for you. So, below are a few questions and answers that might help you with any queries you may have. It is a trance state characterised by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination. It's not really like sleep, because the subject is alert the whole time.
If the answer to any of these questions is yes then you may be experiencing symptoms of stress. Stress over a long period of time can, however, make us more vulnerable to health problems. Physical feelings are experienced when your body reacts to stress, fear or anxiety. These symptoms are often referred to as the 'fight or flight' response.
Hypnotherapy can release your fears and stress of infertility. Having fear, uncertainty, depression, confusion and even anger at your body for not being pregnant can all affect a woman's chances of becoming pregnant. Studies show that the stress and anxiety of infertility can affect the ability to get pregnant.
A habit is a pattern of behaviour that is learnt and then repeated subconsciously, good or bad we repeat this behaviour often without thinking about it. In other words, you are not consciously telling yourself to go through the process of doing that thing. We all have bad habits to some degree but when you find they are interfering with your goals or perhaps you feel embarrassed about the habit it's time to make those changes and take control.
The Majority of the sleep problems are due to the inability of our mind to be able to relax and be in the present moment. In one study conducted, the researchers found that our mental state during bedtime determined the levels of cortisol (stress hormone) in the blood the following morning. So those who were stressed during bedtime had high levels of cortisol compared to those with a blissful state of mind prior to sleep.

I nervously met Claire with a pretty severe phobia of injections with great results (I couldn’t look at a needle beforehand without a feeling of dread). Following 6 hypnotherapy sessions with Claire, I was able to go for my Covid vaccine without any issues and I even pushed the second one forward! Madness. Thanks Claire!
