Crown and Inshes Vet Practices have been working together to set up a dedicated Out-of-Hours service at weekends. All emergency service requirements will be seen at a single clinic by one of our experienced on-call vets, who along with an experienced nurse will provide any treatment and care required.
If you require an emergency vet please phone the normal practice phone number 01463 237000 and you will be put through to the weekend emergency service. The Emergency on call vet will then make contact to arrange for you to be seen at the on-call clinic. Please note to ensure consistency of care your visit details will be passed onto your practice, in the event of insurance claims records will also require to be shared.

Services
Crown Vets is a caring and friendly small animal practice based in the hub of the Scottish Highlands. The practice has cared for thousands of animals for over 40 years, and the practice has grown to have 10 vets working across three branches. We offer a high standard of care for small animals.
We also have access to our own referral service, Crown Vets Referrals, which offers advanced imaging (CT scans), and the ability to have advanced orthopaedic, ophthalmic and soft tissue surgery performed here in Inverness.

Dental disease is the most common condition in adult dogs and cats. We pride ourselves on taking a pro-active approach to dental health in our patients because we are aware of the major contribution it makes to their wellbeing - far, far beyond just fresh breath and pearly whites.
Bacteria in the mouth produce dental plaque which accumulates above and below the gumline, causing disease and pain in the mouth from swollen gums and loosening of teeth, and also release toxins into the bloodstream which can damage major organs. At Crown Vets we have a dedicated dental suite where dental health is assessed and treated using the latest equipment.

Crown Vets is a pioneering veterinary practice in the heart of the Highlands with conveniently located practices. Our premises on Argyle Street has been home to a veterinary practice since the mid 1970's. Our practices are fully equipped and run by staff highly trained and dedicated to looking after your family pets to the highest standard.
At Crown Vets we work extremely hard throughout the year to reduce our environmental impact and increase our environmental sustainability. We have a dedicated 'Green Machine' team in place to drive ideas and implement them within the practice and our branches. We are always coming up with new ideas and we work closely with our suppliers looking at new products we can implement that have a lesser impact on the environment.
Every year we attend the Black Isle Show and Moy Game Fair throughout the summer months. Our aim is to raise awareness of pet obesity and educate the public about the health of their dogs. As pet obesity is such a prevalent disease and can be easily preventable, we get hands on with the dogs and body condition score them as well as encourage the owners to critique their body condition.

We've used Crown vets since 2009. I'm medically trained (on humans) and I recognise that this practice employs consistently superior clinicians. We have found that their vets consistently support us in making the best individualised decisions for the best welfare of our animals
I literally wouldn't even consider going anywhere else

Very clean premises with onsite parking . Very courteous reception staff and although a lot of the vets here are young they have a tremendous amount of knowledge between them and I have no problem with bringing my choccy lab here or any animal ...i highly recommend them also they have a 24 help line which to me is a must .

In an attempt to help a few friends whose dog was injured ( he had broken his nail in an escalator) and was bleeding excessively, we Googled the nearest vet and arrived nine minutes later at Crown Vet. All they did was wrap a bandage around his paw. Didn't examine him properly. Didn't advice on further care charged over £100. £60-something for consultation (they didn't do anything not even advice was given on after care) £40- something for bandage dressing ( didn't clean the wound or areas around the wound). The wound started to bleed as soon as we came out. We went back to ask for advice. They
