Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.
If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

We are up on holiday and my 8 month old chihuahua became ill. I phoned and was told to come down immediately which we did. We were seen within minutes of arriving and thankfully after treatment it appears she has kennel cough. I would just like to thank the lovely staff of Strathspey vets for the kind treatment we received from the lovely receptionist to the very knowledgeable and engaging vet that treated my puppy. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice and once again thank you.
