We are situated right on the Blue Flag beach at Goring By Sea with wonderful far reaching sea views. There is a large free car park (limited to 2 hours stay) and plenty of parking along the sea front. We have large green areas either side of the cafe. There are toilet/disabled toilet facilities. We have an alfresco dining area which seats 150 and inside we can seat 80.

There is a takeaway shop selling tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, cakes and beach goods. And for the rest of the year from 8.00am to 5.00pm (all depending on the weather - if it's nice weather we stay open longer!).

Menu Report

Our friendly staff will serve you with a delicious variety of foods to enjoy in our warm atmosphere. We serve cooked breakfasts from 8.30am until 11.30am. We offer an extensive lunch menu of either main meals or snacks and have a range of daily specials on our menu varying from lasagne to goats cheese tarts, soup in the winter to seafood salads in the summer.

Unpredictable weather - this extended cafe offers additional shelter, with dog friendly offering in the marquee section.
Menu extensive, and reasonably priced. Staff friendly.
You can dine in or take away.
Small, well used car park and public conveniences available.
Welcome stop for walkers, or water sports people.
Right on beach front.
Bus service nearby.

We went down here for breakfast today.
Obvs very popular, didn't need to queue for long, food & service brilliant.
Sealane 'Classic' breakfasts all round with a pot of tea.
Very attentive staff.

Wonderful food, even cooked a sausage for our dog! Excellent choice of food and drinks - something for everyone. However we were disappointed to see staff were not wearing masks or gloves, and one girl picked my requested drinking straw out by its end with her bare hand. We will definitely return and hope to see that you are voluntarily respecting Covid precautions which at the moment are not law but common sense! ☺️

Lovely place with great views out to sea. Have expanded their seating area to include a huge outdoor canopy area. Pet friendly outside and very very good service and prices. I ordered a latte and a shortbread biscuit and was blown away

Nothing better than sitting on a beach and enjoying the incredible brunch served at the sea lane cafe! Their special full English hit the spot! Amazing quality and a wonderful setting. Very busy but definitely worth the wait in the queue for this!

A good selection of food available on the menu. You have a choice of eating inside, outside in a marquee or outside on the beach. Orders are placed inside and when it is ready it is brought to your table. The prices are reasonable. The car park is free, so there are no other hidden costs. Worth a visit, especially on a good summer's day.

I agree with everything about this café. A good meal at a very busy lunch time. a very long queue and loots of staff to cope, meaning once you got to order you could not have to wait long for the meal. A separate ice cream shop below too.

Very popular with locals Sea Lane Cafe is always busy, summer and winter. Food is excellent - I can recommend the toasties. Staff are efficient and food is well presented. As it is so busy it is sometimes difficult to get a seat.

This is a very popular licenced cafe that is open 7 days a week, right on the beach at goring-by-sea, worthing. they have seating inside and out, they serve snacks and meals and their cakes are massive!
