The Sunny Restaurant is Worthing's longest running restaurant, established in 1968, we've been at the heart of Greek food in Worthing for over 53 years. Serving great tasting Greek & Mediterranean cuisine to the local Worthing area, our aim is to provide top quality healthy home made food, using the best authentic ingredients.
Almost all our food is gluten free and and you will find no trace of nuts in any of our starters or main courses. Located in East Worthing, Sunny offers a friendly and inviting atmosphere in a lovely comfortable dining room.

Services
A meze is a traditional way of eating in many Greek Tavernas and Restaurants. It typically consists of 12-15 small dishes, which provide a great selection of cold dips and continue with a variety of warm dishes. And to follow a selection of fresh fruit. Whilst we try to make our menu as descriptive as possible, please speak to a member of staff if you have a food intolerance, some of our dishes do contain wheat and nuts.

Very disappointed.
2 of the party were told that if they wanted something from a kebab shop, they should go to a kebab shop... not what you'd class as good service (and why put it on the menu if you don't want people to order it!)
The food was tasteless and the atmosphere was non existent which was a real shame as we had been looking forward to out trip there.

Me and my family had such a amazing dinner here for my birthday last week.
The owner was absolutely lovely and the food was so delicious. Empty plates all round!
Highly recommend here, it's a lovely, quiet, authentic Greek restaurant!
I sadly didn't take any photos of the food as we were too busy eating It but next time I come I will take pictures as it was presented beautifully!

New to Worthing so looked for authentic greek food
What a waste of time
Restaurant stuck in the 70’s as was the bad attempt of the chef to produce greek food
Everything seemed to be too much trouble for the 1 man band
Will not be returning

As a part Cypriot I was very excited to have the chance to go a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant, with the hope of eating some of my favourite foods. I wasn't disappointed, we were well looked after, and the food was very good - I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. That said, I'm not sure if the food / grills were cooked over coals it didn't quite seem like they were - that doesn't mean it wasn't good, but just lacked that authentic Cypriot / Greek element. Perhaps it's a legal / consent issue with smoke. However, the Kleftiko was beautiful - melt in the mouth, fall off the bone lamb

Having booked, we were the only people in there. We were then told our choice would take 45minutes, and as my husband was very hungry, he chose something else. The food was good, but there was no atmosphere at all.
This is the second time this has happened, and although we have been going to this restaurant for many years, fear it will not survive much longer.
