Park guests are welcome to fish the Ithon along the park stretch or we are able for a modest fee offer a further five miles fishing along the river. In Llandrindod Wells there is the lake and other privately owned lakes and reservoirs that can be fished on a daily ticket. Numerous public footpaths radiate away from the campsite and the whole county of Powys is criss-crossed with public rights of way for the serious rambler and cyclists.
If you are looking for a relaxing break in the Heart of Mid Wales with your caravan or motorhome then Disserth is the ideal tranquil location. The park offers twenty five level pitches with a choice of grass or hardstanding. All of the seven hardstanding pitches have electricity, drinking water and grey water drainage.
Camping at Disserth is on level grass pitches on either a formal or informal layout thus meeting most people's needs. The park is sheltered and set back away from the approach road, ideally situated for the Heart of Wales and the local areas surrounding Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells. The Elan Valley and Gigrin Farm Red Kite feeding station are only 10 miles away and the park is just off cycle route 8.

Rude obnoxious owner who walks around about 3 to 4 times a day inspecting what your doing I wasn’t the only one he cheesed off!
Told I could have bbq as long as it was off the floor that was fair enough as the grass was lovely.. we put a concrete slab down, when he walked past he shouted your taking the P##s 😡 really no need of this, especially with our children there.
He left a couple in the pod freezing with no sleeping bag/ quilt offered them no help whatsoever.
Spoke to a lovely couple from Liverpool and they said how rude and abrupt the owner is..
Really quiet site for a stopover

Enjoyed ourselves so much I forgot to take loads of photos! Was lovely to watch the horses in the evening and then the lambs in the morning playing. There was enough space for all our items and the facilities were fair with the microwave, kettle and small fridge.
Spent 3 nights and that is about as much as we could do with the heat that week and the bed as it is a foam mattress. (would recommend if staying longer to bring extra toppers or duvets to soften)
Additionally it is very sensitive to turn over in as it does make loud noises against the wooden support underneath. A bit difficult to get

We have just toured round a number of sites in Wales and of them all this was our favourite. It doesn't have particularly remarkable facilities although everything important is there (including laundry, which was a plus) but what it does have us a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. It's right next to a river which you can access via a little path, you can watch the red kites wheeling in the afternoon sun, a great escape.

This little secluded Caravan and camping park is truly beautiful.
Set in a secluded, peaceful setting with wildlife all around.
Initially intended as a 1 night stay, we booked a further 2 nights. This place is that good.
The facilities are second to none, with seperate showers ( the best around ) and three further seperate wc.
With washing facilities, drying, WiFi, fridge, kettle and microwave to name a few available. The owners have thought of everything you could need.
The owners are extremely helpful and very friendly.
This place is a must when travelling to Wales.
