Lovely site and very helpful staff. Our electric kept tripping following a night of very heavy rain and they immediately dealt with the issue.
The rain was no problem regarding flooding as the site is very well drained.
Fabulous walks within a few miles of the site and the town. Definitely would like to return soon. Thank you

Lovely location and the surroundings are tidy and well organised. Right behind our pitch there was a river and cows drinking, so rural! Love it. The facilities are quiet ok but I would clean a bit more often. Other than that was a lovely stay and lots of small villages and reserves around to discover.

Rockbridge park is ok for a few nights if you have a family and the weather is hot, the river lug runs through it so my kids have played all day in the river. The facilities are very clean and on site there is a washer a d dryer facility, a freezer and fridge to put your food and a small libary in which you can borrow books and dvds. Down side to rockbridge is that there is not much to do near by if the weather is typically english weather (rain), and the pricing for the site is not clear and there seem to be hidden charges, so for what they charge for a family to camp hear i dont beleive its worth

Pros generally good facilities, roomy shower cubicles, clean and tidy. Friendly welcome.
Cons Poor showers, weak and no temperature control. Was pitched between two lots of same family. They clearly wanted to be together. Noisy night, felt in the way. Would have moved if it hadn't been dark and rainy when they arrived.

Lovely campsite. We had a pitch by the river so had the joy of hearing it running. Across the river was a field of sheep and their chatty lambs! We could hear barn owls at night too. Facilities were immaculate. Good selection of dvds available to borrow. We didn't have any TV reception and saw some people had portable satellite dishes, didn't bother us though. WiFi free and was reluctant to connect so not very reliable. However once connected it was pretty good.
Great site, highly recommend it.
