Services
Part of the Safety First Aid Group which was established in 1959, Safety First Aid Training (SFAT) is one of the UK's leading training providers in Ofqual approved first aid, health and safety and fire training courses. Today we're based in our 28,000 sqft training centre in North London with multiple other training centres located throughout greater London and Enfield.
This half day basic first aid at work course provides delegates with a basic training in first aid for the workplace. The course is a cost effective way of training a group of delegates with basic first aid skills, without taking up too much of their work time. The course is ideal as a first aid refresher or as supplementary first aid training in the workplace.
This HSE-recommended half-day first aid refresher course refreshes the knowledge previously gained in a First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course. The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that workers take a first aid refresher course on an annual basis after receiving their 3 year certificates in First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work.
If your first aid needs assessment stipulates that you need a qualified emergency first aider in the workplace, then this course provides all of the training required along with a nationally recognised certificate which is valid for 3 years. The course meets all guidelines and the resulting qualification is recognised by the HSE.
This 2 day first aid re-qualification course is a Level 3 RQF Award recommended by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). This course re-qualifies you as a first aider if your original First Aid at Work certificate is about to expire.
If your First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate is going to expire in the next 3 months, then this 2 day course is the ideal first aid at work refresher course, and will re-qualify you as a first aider at work for another 3 years.Alongside meeting H&S regulations, your skills will also be refreshed to keep them sharp and ready in the event of a first aid emergency.

Booking and payment was simple to complete online. Venue is very well sign posted. The course structure was explained clearly by the instructor, whos was very thorough and made sure everyone felt welcomed and at ease. The delivery of the content was done with a mixture of slides and practicals. Once the course was completed, the centre sent out the certificates fairly quickly. Would gladly book courses again at the centre.

Training began at 9, but by 9:20 trainer hadn't yet arrived. When I enquired with office staff in room next door, they thought the trainer was already training us. About five min later, a staff member informed us that the trainer was stuck in traffic and would arrive around 10:30.
Very odd that a training venue doesn't know when their staff have arrived, and even stranger that a trainer who is late wouldn't inform the office that they are late.
When the trainer arrived, the session was very good and the trainer was very engaging.
