Heaton is an extremely popular area to live in for both students and professionals alike due to it having great transport links to the City Centre, universities and surrounding areas. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ripped us off and blamed blocked pipes on us and charged us for it when the plumbers said it wasn’t actually our fault and it was due to plumbing works on the road - unprofessional and they then didn’t allow the plumbers to talk to us because they wanted to charge us anyway even though the damage had nothing to do with us. Proper jobsworths & they will rip of students because they know they can get away with it
Also take pics of the house before because we got charged for stuff that we didn’t do ✌🏽

Do NOT rent with Baskeys.
At first, Baskeys seemed to be a lovely company filled with lovely people. And don’t get me wrong, the customer service side of the company is great, especially Lisa, Kay, and Stephen. This is why nearly all 5 star reviews for Baskeys are from people who have just secured tenancies or are not yet at their tenancy end date. Post-tenancy, Baskeys however appear to be only interested in your money. The property myself and my two flatmates rented was in perfect condition at the end of our tenancy. We spent 3 whole days cleaning it from top to bottom. It was immaculate.

Really surprised at some of the reviews below as I've lived in 2 different properties with baskeys and have found them to be outstanding. Their maintenance team is quick to come and so helpful and the staff are always friendly and helpful as well. I had an awful experience with another agency before I moved to baskeys and I wouldn't ever even consider living with anyone else in the future. Seriously can't recommend them enough.

Great property, nice staff. Just left our property and got our deposits back. The whole experience has been really good. We’ve always been met by friendly staff and helpful maintenance men. Will be taking advantage of the discounted fees im entitled to when I get back from my year abroad next year. Cheers to the staff, great company. Looking forward to my next tenancy with you guys. Really recommend this place.

A DISCRACE OF A LETTING COMPANY. They will scam you at any chance they get- whether it be a fault with the house (wrongly at your expense) or cleaning charges upon the end of tenancy, despite the property being left in impeccable condition. They do not stop short of consistently telling lies & covering for their incompetent staff, who show a complete disregard for their customers- particularly students, who they clearly think are too naive and stupid to know otherwise. After being charged for a toilet blockage, which was later confirmed to be a problem with the street sewage system and NOT us tenants

The staff at baskeys are so accommodating. They always make time for us. We have just secured our new house for 2019/2020 with them so will be transferring to another baskeys property. Makes so much sense since they offer discounts and transfer our deposits plus the staff are really lovely. we cant wait to spend another year with you!

Just been on a property viewing with the loveliest woman ever which has been so nice after having some very pushy viewings with other agencies. She was full of knowledge of the areas and she really listened to what we wanted, we loved every property so the choice was hard but we've just secured one! The tenants living in the properties we went round were so welcoming and it's clear they have a good relationship with baskeys. We cannot wait to be with these guys next year!
