We have Belhaven Best, Guiness and Aspall Cider on draught as well as lots of many other soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. We can serve lunch and dinner and if you plan a special birthday party or gathering, please let us know as the pub can be busy. It has been busy from day one and the locals as well as visitors enjoy food and drink in our pub.

Great place for a nice intimate meal. The atmosphere is very nice as the music and the decorations are well selected.
The food is well prepared and the plates are of a good size. Their homemade coleslaw, is definitely one of the best I've had!
The drinks selection is very good as well!
The pub is in the main square and there are parking spaces in front of it.
Quirk: the corner shop within the pub is fantastic.
Also, if you want to bring your dog, this pub is pet friendly.

A welcoming small place with staff who are both helpful and polite.
The food was all great and the portions were large enough so I didn't need a pudding, great and interesting interior decor make this a worth while visit. I nice mix of young people, families and older patrons. Staff very quick and helpful so I can't fault anything here. Would come back cheers.

Underwhelming, the soup looked like half a portion, a bit expensive for a bland lentil soup with some cheap prebaked bread roll that was toasted.
The burger had no flavour, the fries and coleslaw were OK. For a £12 burger I would have expected more.
I finished with the carrot and walnut cake, it was again OK but also quite dry. It didn't seem overbaked so I can only suspect it was a few days old and all it's moisture had gone.
Maybe if we had lobster it would have been better but I left feeling short changed. The service was fine, nobody came to check if the meal was OK. I wouldn't go out of

This was a random choice, proved to be an excellent one.
Hot salmon crayfish and prawn starter, loads in it, fresh, tasty. Whole lobster as a main, provided with all tools and instructions, beautiful in garlic butter and chips were perfect. Desert of Alabama chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, sticky calorific goodness!
Prices very reasonable, menu choice excellent and friendly happy staff.
10/10 would recommend and will be back!

Meal we got was amazing taste, very generous portions and children's meal for the wee man was great. A special shout out to the lobster as it was brilliant. Menu has good choice, well priced, good service even with covid restrictions in place and when ordered food was not long to arrive. The interior and beer garden look amazing and alot of work been put in which I say has paid off. Honestly the place look stunning inside. The look and feel is how a restaurant/pub should. Dogs are welcome inside and in garden.
