Chigwell Golf Club is a traditional, yet friendly and welcoming members' club, with 18 holes set on undulating parkland. The par 71 course, measuring 6309 yards, presents a real challenge for the most discerning of golfers and proudly boasts one of the highest slope ratings in the County, with the white tees rated as 138.

But no two clubs are the same and we recommend doing your research before deciding; play the course, talk to our members, meet the staff and pro shop team - it's all part of the process and it has to be right for you.

This is an instruction based membership package which aims to provide new and novice golfers with the most comprehensive introduction to the game, no matter their age or experience.
We, Chigwell GC call on everyone involved in golf to play their part in developing a culture that values women's involvement in every aspect of the sport, from participating to pursuing a career. There is a clear ethical need for change and the potential economic benefits of growing the sport through more women and girls playing are substantial.
The membership and staff at Chigwell are renowned for their welcome. Whether it is a post-match drink with your 4 ball or simply coming to meet friends we are rightly proud of our club, and in particular the warm and friendly atmosphere that is very much a feature of Chigwell. There has been considerable improvement to our clubhouse facilities in recent times in which we have greatly enhanced the clubhouse and public areas.
As a membership owned and managed club, investment in the course is central to achieving a happy membership. Therefore, our very experienced Course Manager, Jeff Foulger, and his team of seven greenkeepers and apprentices work alongside our Greens Committee who represents the best interests of all playing members.

Nice club in very posh surroundings especially the great number of homes that back onto the course which means many a stray shot can be found in someone's garden!
The course is will kept and has a fair variety of holes many of which require good tee shots to prevent being blocked out.
Recommended.
Only issue was the temporary green for which no yardage was given.

I run a "FORE" Business networking group at Chigwell Golf Club every month and the course has always been in fantastic condition, and everyone who visits our group always mention how much they've enjoyed the course.
Also the staff that work there are always extremely helpful and professional.
Would highly recommend 👍
