In that short time it has earned a reputation as a great course, well maintained with an open welcome to all, from complete novice to experienced players. Whatever your golfing ability, if you have never even played before or are a professional, we take pride in providing you with a warm welcome and all the facilities any golfer will need to learn, play and enjoy the game.

We take great pride in providing some of the best designed and maintained golf facilities and the friendliest welcome the area has to offer. Because of the unusual configuration of a full length and a par 3 nine hole course we do not have booking times. Some golfers wish to play 9 holes, some 18 on one course, some 18 as a combination, depending on their time availability, weather etc.
Services
A thinking golfers par 5 from tee to green. Don't go too long with the drive or you're in the ditch, and don't get stuck behind the tree. Place your second and you are within distance of the well protected, two level, green. But don't forget, as if you could, there is a lake to the right to catch any wayward shot.
Season Tickets for the golf courses are available - please contact us for our current prices on 01992 561 661. At HCGC, we run a Loyalty Card scheme making your golf at the centre even better value. In principle the scheme runs on the basis of play any 6 rounds and get any type of 7th round free. This gives you a great saving.
Hobbs Cross School of Golf is the only place to learn golf. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced player, your learning experience second to none. Our facilities are first rate, giving you the opportunity to learn, develop and improve your game. Our director of coaching Mike Leitch, PGA Professional, has over 25 years of coaching experience, coaching novices, club golfers and European Tour Professionals.

9 and 18 holes. 9 holes is a large pitch and putt course which is great for a quick game. 18 holes is a little tougher. Grounds are well looked after. Just turn up and play. Nice little range and putting area too.

Great little course split into 2 halves. Front nine is a delightful par three, followed by a back nine (the weald) which definitely ranks at the easier end of the golf spectrum. Best thing is their attitude to new golfers ... no stuffy nonsense. They're happy to take most walk ins provided you're not dressed in jeans or joggers. Played here many times ... a great day out.

Always in amazing condition unless the weather gas been awful. Perfect atmosphere and set-up for all standards of golfers to play, practice and improve their game. Good golf, without having to jump through stupid hoops and rules. Proper par 3 nine hole course is as enjoyable as the main nine.

First golf I've played in nearly 4 years. Played at Hobbs Cross years ago. Great Course, good condition can only improve when life returns to normal. Less restrictions, they do a small selection of food if I remember correctly

Really forgiven course. Good value for money it only has 9 full size holes so you do it twice if you want to do a full 18 hole run but has 9 par 3 holes so you can do both also

The 9 holes I played is a superb course with great little challenging obstacles through out.. The putting greens are of a high standard in my opinion... All in all a great experience and a pleasure to play.. Thank you
