Services
Carole and Jamie live within a mile of the practice and so have a keen interest in the local area. Carole went on to work for both multiple and independent practices all over the country until she and Jamie decided to start their own practice. She has over 14 years experience in optics. Jamie has worked in well established and new start up practices and has over 12 years experience in optics.
When you arrive for your eye exam you can relax with a coffee or tea in our comfortable waiting area. Dawn or Jamie will get you checked in with Carole who will take you through to the test room. We allow an hour for your eye test as we believe a thorough eye exam should not be rushed. This also lets Carole have more time to explain your results and give you the best possible advice.

Best optician I have ever had. Extremely thorough eye examination by Carole. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. My entire family are now looked after by this practice. The cost of specs was surprisingly moderate particularly for my daughter who has a complex prescription. They have been brilliant during lockdown and I would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience once again at Lapworth opticians! Having lost my glasses, I was attended to very quickly and helped to choose some beautiful new frames from a wide selection available.
