This means that we are able to diagnose, manage and treat anterior eye problems, prescribing as required. The question we always ask ourselves when faced with the range of options available for our patients is "What would I do for myself, given all the possibilities?" This allows us to be completly honest about the best solution(s) available.
All our spectacle lenses are made to order to ensure that each individual patient gets the best bespoke solution for their needs. Of course we don't make specs in an hour - we would rather leave that to the big chains. We prefer to use one of our specialist glazing workshops to produce the best job possible.
At Burnside McPhee, we like to stock huge range of frames and believe we have a larger range than other optical outlets, with no duplicates on display. This allows us to offer a great selection to our patients. Whether you want a pair of top designer glasses or a spare pair, we will have something just right for you.

Every optometric practice in the country has to have a minimum level of equipment, but we consider it very important to do more than the basics and have invested to ensure that we offer a bespoke service to all of our patients. For example, only a very small number of opticians have remote controlled refractor heads connected to compact auto refractors.

Excellent treatment, goes the extra mile to get to the bottom of any vision related issues such as migraine, and to treat in an ongoing and personal way. This is way beyond the service provided by the big names. There is a full range of prices and I have had some good bargains for glasses. I would not hesitate to recommend.
