We understand that sometimes it's not able to come out and see us. This could be for a variety of reasons, physical or mental health related. If this is the case, we can come out and see you under the NHS, that is, completely free to you. We come equipped to do a full prescription and health check of your eyes and even come with frames to help you choose at the convenience of your own home (or care home, if that's where you stay).
Focus dailies all day comfort are great for occasional wear such as holidays and outdoor activities. These lenses are 69% water based, therefore with each blink the eye is hydrated which is also great for contact lens wearers with dry eye. This lens features a blue handling tint for easier insertion and removal.
1-Day Moist is a daily disposable lens great for occasional wear such as holidays and outdoor activities due to the high UV protection within the lens and a long lasting cushion of moisture for comfortable wear. 1-Day Moist for Astigmatism is a daily disposable lens suitable for contact lens wearers who have an astigmatism.

This is the best optician that I have ever been to. The staff are really friendly. The optician that tested my eyes was really patient with me and she gave me the time that I needed. (I do have a really complicated prescription.) She understood that I do a lot of small close up work and she has managed to get me a prescription made up that means that I can see the smallest of print. Something that other opticians have not been able to do. I usually have to wait approximately 3 months to collect new glasses because my prescription is so complicated but Tod have managed to make them up for me in

Staff were all very professional explaining and taking me through the options I had regarding my eye care. They answered all my questions, took time to listen and advised me on what type of lens would best suit my circumstances. Every part of my appointment was well-organised and the atmosphere was warm, friendly and relaxed. Customer care appeared to be important to the staff and at the heart of the service provided.

I would like to thank the gentleman who repaired my glasses today. I had been without them for several days - which had caused a certain amount of frustration for me. I had visited a couple of opticians beforehand and no-one was able to repair them, so I was delighted when the gentleman took time to replace the leg on my glasses. A great service. Thank you.

I needed an emergency prescription for an issue with one of my eyes. My usual optician was closed, but Tod Opticians were very happy to give me advice over the telephone as well as issue me an emergency prescription for eye drops and ointment. The service and advice was spot on and even though I wasn't registered as their patient, they were more than happy to help.

Excellent care and service. Saw me this morning for an emergency appointment after my own opticians were closed. They explained each part of the procedure and gave me a diagnosis straight away. Really helpful. Also felt safe with the covid restrictions in place. Think I'll be switching my eye care and my children's eye care to TOD from now on and will definitely recommend to family and friends 👍
