Nice food, good prices for the quality. Service became slightly slower as we were finishing however.

A fine old building with a lovely ambience and friendly staff. Good coffee and the food looked good although I didn't partake on this occasion.

We booked a one- night package of bed, breakfast and evening meal, which was excellent value. Our room was lovely, the food fabulous, and the staff were absolutely lovely. Will definitely stay again when we are next in the area

Very enjoyable stay, our room was beautiful and no expense spared. Food - evening and breakfast very good too. Hotel doesn't have a car park though, so if you arrive late evening you might struggle to find somewhere.

I’m often hesitant to stop at the obvious big place right in the centre of a town. But the seat outside in the sun with our new pup was too hard to pass up. Was absolutely worth the visit. Friendly staff and although we couldn’t order food right away due to a back lot of booked patrons when we did eventually get our roast dinners and excellent cheesecakes as well as the accompanying beverages we were bot disappointed. Absolutely delicious food. Roast dinner was very tasty. Friendly staff all around. The inside looked lovely and welcoming and was dog friendly (sadly our puppy wasn’t yet carpet

We had a lovely double room with a roll top bath B&B £160+ but it was the only room left for the night we wanted. Check in late afternoon after a long drive greeting somewhat disappointing ladies in the bar somewhat abrupt told to come back later. Checked in , getting ready for a bath knock on the door, please can we move the car, spaces behind the hotel for staff ! Would have been helpful to have that info earlier .Breakfast ok one lady on duty extremely efficient and skilled
