Services
Our room prices start at 35 and are on a room only basis. Food is available throughout the day, all freshly prepared and cooked in house by our head chef. Checking in time for the rooms is 2pm although often they are ready before. Please check in at the bar at the Royal Hotel. If you arrive early we are always happy to look after your bags while you have a stroll along Morecambe prom or relax with a drink in the bar.
The Royal is proud to support the Way of the Roses cycle route - one of Britain's best 'coast-to-coast' routes. For 170 miles between Morecambe and Bridlington, this highly popular route passes through historic cities York and Lancaster, and lesser known gems such as Settle, Pateley Bridge and Ripon.

Called their today, ordered food 1 hour wait from ordering, starters were ridiculous 3 pieces of bread and little dressing,y friend had the chicken dippers they arrived cold. The main orders was even worse, my ordered the lasagna that arrived I'm small dish with 2 small garlic sliced bread. Nothing else not worth £13 pound. My other friends pie was burnt and dry and looked disgusting, asked to speak to manager, no manager came had the cheek to give me a bill 86 pound. Totally a rip of will never go their again

Came here the other weekend for my grandparents birthday and can hand on heart say it's the worst meal I've ever had the displeasure of being served. The menu that they serve is not the same as the one online, I had hoped to have the mac and cheese but settled on the chicken burger. What I was served was an overcooked chicken breast with plastic cheese and a dollop of mayo on a dry bun. The chips were obviously frozen chips, but at least they were edible. Desert was not much better with the frosting on the chocolate fudge cake being overly sweet and slightly gritty in texture, the cake itself was

This was the favourite pub of my holiday last week. The landlord, bar staff and DJ were all friendly. I danced most of the night and people were chatty and enjoying themselves. I thought Morecambe pubs might be boring compared to Manchester. The Royal, it's staff and it's customers proved me completely wrong. Thank you for a great holiday.

Old and tired hotel. The interior and hallways were very outdated. The room itself was pretty clean and we did see in the morning that the rooms were cleaned pretty thoroughly by staff.
The check-in is at the bar downstairs.
Generally, it is a very tacky experience and the hotel needs a proper makeover and a nice breakfast offer.
Otherwise, lower the price of the rooms, it’s not worth this money.

Just been there for Sunday lunch …. Worst Sunday lunch I’ve ever had …all cheap packet food … and the girl that served us OMG asked us 4 times what we wanted to drink and then never fetched it we had to ask a different member of staff for the drinks (35 minutes it took) Never again …She even wrote our orders down on paper but still kept coming back asking if we’d ordered ….she’d get a job at Fawlty Towers …..Atrocious
