Moorgate is situated in the beautiful Walkham valley with easy access to the nearby market town of Tavistock and city of Plymouth. Staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide quality care in a safe environment and our staff are specially trained to care for those who suffer with dementia. If you are struggling to cope we welcome phone calls and can advise on whether or not a care home is the right step for you.
We encourage our care team to participate in specialist training, and we recognize the need to continually develop our staff skill base. Our team continues to excel and we have managed to maintain a very low staff turnover. A high percentage of our care team are trained or are currently undergoing training to NVQ 2 or better.

We have a selection of comfortable bedrooms, most of which are en-suite and all have a carer call system in place. With two spacious day rooms, entertainment room and two dining rooms Moorgate offers a spacious relaxing environment to listen to music, watch T.V or films or the freedom to simply sit quietly.
