Little Green Day Nursery was established in 2011 by Jane Carpenter, Mum of two with over 30 years professional childcare experience, including 8 years assessing and teaching childcare students. Jane has utilised her wealth of knowledge and experience to create a purpose built nursery where children explore and learn in a safe, secure environment, supported by a highly skilled, qualified staff team.
At Little Green Day Nursery children's individual ideas and feelings are always valued and parents are encouraged to be involved in their child's learning. Thank you so much for all your kindness and the care you've given my child. He's grown up in to such a happy, loving and confident little boy. I will miss picking up time and hearing all about his dance moves and times where he's taken a sneaky afternoon nap.

Services
Little Green Day Nursery offers a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our nursery has 3 large, bright, purpose-built rooms equipped to the highest standard for everyone to enjoy. The well resourced rooms encourage children to engage in both adult led and child initiated learning.
Caterpillar room is home to our youngest children. The bright, airy environment encourages exploration and introduces a wide variety of activities and experiences fully supported by experienced staff. Low level furniture and accessible resources, along with indoor and outdoor activities, support children's development and confidence.
Our 2-3-year-old room promotes endless possibilities. Filled with resources just their size, our butterflies are well supported to discover how to use their imagination, build on their own unique interests, and express their own ideas. Daily opportunities to explore all areas of learning from construction to role play, creative art and music, early maths and literacy, build each child's confidence, independence and social skills.

Our son has been at this nursery for several months now and absolutely loves it. It took a few weeks to get him settled there but now he can't wait to get there in the mornings. Staff are so pleasant, helpful and kind all the time, nothing is too much trouble. Also very impressed with the variety of healthy food the kids are offered at meal times and the regular updates through the ParentZone app. Would absolutely recommend this nursery.

Very friendly staff, some in particular really looked after the children like they were part of their family. Very health conscious nursery - lots of healthy food and snacks on the menu and they worked exercise and well being into their daily routine - even tooth brushing! Excellent home/nursery contact and feedback so u knew exactly where the children were up to. Was sorry when my children left!
