Services
Welcome to Stockport Village Nursery, probably one of the most beautiful day nurseries you'll ever see. Here we ask ourselves the same question everyday -"What's it like for a child here?" Is it warm, fun, exciting and loving? Most importantly are the children happy? If they are we are!. Stockport Village Nursery is pretty, bright, spacious and purpose built.
At Stockport Village Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum guidance which covers the below 6 key areas of child development. This is a framework put together by the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools & Families) & covers ages from 0-5 years old. We always strive to ensure our nursery sets itself extremely high standards to ensure we act as a benchmark to other nurseries in the Greater Manchester area.
At Stockport Village Nursery we are exceptionally proud of our three weekly menu. This includes breakfast, lunch and a tea time snack. We strive hard to get our 5 a day by offering fresh fruit with breakfast and lunch and dried fruit with tea, we also include vegetables in or along with lunch and often have salad and vegetables at tea.
At Stockport Village Nursery we plan each day to ensure your childs steady development and progression, we aaim to build their confidence through praise, recognition and continues support. The overall structure of the day will be specific to your local nursery but idividually tailored to encourage your chid to flourish and naturally inspire them to love learning.
Flexibility, love and understanding are key to a child of any age, but in this first room at nursery we pride ourselves in tending to your babies 'individual' needs and routine. This room really does lay the foundations for solid positive relationships. We have two toddler rooms of similar ages, one being only slightly older than the other.

This nursery is the most caring, loving and most of all welcoming nursery around!
The staff are all long serving and most have been there for over 10+ Years.
The most important thing about the nursery is that the children are happy and well looked after!
Would most definitely recommend bringing your children X

Very poor. Took my daughter to visit at a scheduled time. Staff were very rude and unwelcoming. Did not interact with Marisol and were very condescending towards me and my family.
This place seems to have drastically gone downhill, as my elder son attended 4 years ago and was much better at the time.

Went to ask About places for my son and was met by what I am assuming as the Manager white jumper all the younger girl had blue, she was rude and had an attitude with me as I didnt know the system. My two year old son went to run in as he saw all the toys as a a two year old does and She said "GRAB HIM GRAB HIM"
very rude and alot of attitude for an older lady, made me think if she speaks to me like that how would she speak to my little boy! I asked how long nursery has been there and She said "Ermm 18 years" as though I am stupid with her eyes practically rolling. Just plain rude, she should

I'm not sorry for this.
The place is colourful & bright lots of things to play with but my daughter came to this nursery for 1 year and I hated walking in because the judy and some women in reception are so rude! Never met someone so stuck up and uglyrude in my life. The first time Amelia came to this nursery I saw a girl screaming at a little baby no older than 1 only for crying because it has a dirty nappy she was screaming saying "shut up" which if that was my child I wouldnt want it being told to shut up. Secondly one of the staff messaging my sister through Facebook asking why she wasn't

My daughter's been there for about a year now, and her development is superb. As she is at the nursery three days a week then part of the credit must go to them.
I think having a few animals, a dog, fish, turtle etc is really good for her and the other kids.

Very nice, lovely people who seem to genuinely care about the children. Extremely helpful to the parents, too.
