Services
The Clover Mill team are committed to rejuvenating their guests physically, emotionally and spiritually by carrying out personally tailored treatment programmes based on the Ayurvedic principles of healthy diet, therapeutic massage, gentle yogic exercise and meditation in peaceful, natural surroundings.
At The Clover Mill, our aim is to help rebalance your body, mind and spirit by nurturing you with Ayurvedic techniques, meals and gentle yoga whilst being immersed in nature. Staying at the mill gives you permission to relax, to put yourself first, to contemplate your life and who you are. Our Ayurveda & Yoga retreats run throughout the year starting on most Fridays but also sometimes in the week.
At The Clover Mill, our aim is to help rebalance your body, mind and spirit with Ayurvedic techniques. Your Ayurveda therapist will design a programme specifically tailored to meet your needs based on a detailed consultation which will occur before a marma abhyanga. A tension relieving head, neck and shoulder massage, great for helping with computer strain, migraines and stress.
Classes at The Clover Mill focus on the therapeutic benefits of gentle Hatha Yoga, pranayama (breathing) and meditation and are held in the beautiful warm yoga studio in the old mill loft. All classes are appropriate for beginners and those with an existing strong practice. We ask students to sign-up to a term because places are limited to 10 per class and also as it can help your motivation if you commit.
Much of the time we are so lost in thinking and so caught up in what we have to do next, that we can miss out on what is actually happening in each moment. As a result we can end up feeling worried, anxious, stressed, exhausted or depressed.
Numerous research studies are demonstrating the benefits of mindfulness on the functioning of the human brain, nervous system, digestive system and immune system; on coping with chronic pain and illness; on coping with short- and long-term stress; in treating depression; and on quality of life more generally: improved self-esteem, greater energy and enthusiasm for life, and general happiness and wellbeing. Why 8 weeks?

** Overpriced and sterile
I was intending to go for this retreat back in Autumn when I thought the recharge would be appreciated after a mad few months working in a hospital. Unfortunately due to lockdown, this was pushed to summer 2021 after being told there is no refund policy (bear in mind if you’re on the fence about booking, it’s not made… clear on the website). I received very little information before my arrival, not even a courtesy reminder or welcoming on the week of, so assumed I’d go by guidance and come after 4pm on day 1 of my retreat. I was informed there

My Spa Day was perfect. The massage I had from Alison was the best ever and she was able to soothe away my tensions. I also found her consultation before the massage to be professional, warm and revealing. Julie was wonderful and so informative and inspiring. The food was delicious and, all in all, it was a beautiful experience which I shall be repeating. It gave me a lot of information about myself and how to make better life choices.

Had a lovely weekend break away from it all. Unfortunately weather wasn't great, and as it was only the 2nd weekend opening post covid, they were just getting the hang of working covid safe.
Which meant that the meals, which were very good were outside, which was chilly and we were in my mind to far spaced apart from other guest's so there wasn't any interaction.
For me as a yoga weekend, I would have preferred 2 yoga lessons a day, rather than one long one. As other than yoga and a walk there was nothing to do.
A friend had been before and had warned me, so I was armed with a book, and 3 downloaded

I have just finished leading 2 yoga retreats here. Such a beautiful place hidden away in Malvern, surrounded by peace and calm. High quality through and through. Julie and her team are wonderful and guided us… through an Ayurvedic lifestyle which was completely new to me and I must say I’ve never felt better. The Ayurvedic massage shifted energy within me.
I loved the whole experience and it will definitely hold a special place in my heart 💓

Fantastic hospitality, amazing food, wonderful place and very knowledgeable, friendly and effective therapists. Fiona said this was some of the best massages she has ever had and she is someone who has had a lot of massages all over the World.
Julie has created something really special and deserves to have the place full permanently. It is hard to get your mind around Ayurveda and 5 days probably isn't enough; however the idea of having a balanced life must be a good thing and we both felt very relaxed and motivated when we left.

My husband and I were given vouchers for our birthdays and we indulged in a 90 minute treatment each which we both really enjoyed.
The experience however was slightly let down by the feeling that we were a bit of an inconvenience and were interrupting the work of the owner. After arriving we were (we felt) abandoned with some forms to fill in for… quite a while as the owner was dealing with calls elsewhere. In the meantime a lady who we later found out was our lovely therapist passed through the rooms with a brief hello in passing, apparently preparing the treatment room. A pot of mint tea

Clover Mill is a little bit of heaven on earth. There really aren't enough superlatives to describe the idyllic setting, the scrumptious food, the warm welcome, or its kind and attentive owner, Julie. From the moment you arrive, you are enveloped in care and love. The eco-lodges are absolutely 5 star - they're an imaginative and attractive mix of modern and rustic with exceptionally comfortable beds, gorgeous organic products and subtle lighting. They've even got feature floor-to-ceiling patio doors that open out onto a deck with private views of trees and natural beauty. At Clover Mill, the trees
