Catering service available Tuesday, Thursday through to Sunday, 12.00pm to 5.00 pm. Enjoy Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, or just a Coffee and a catch up with friends taking in the best views in town. Watch out for our Monthly Specials and Winter Sunday Lunch menu. A short but tricky opening hole. A slight dog-leg right requires longer hitters to clear a bunker on the right of the fairway to leave a short pitch to a narrow green with a greenside bunker to the right. However a fairway wood or long iron placed down the left half of the fairway leaves an easier approach to the green.
Visitors are guaranteed a warm welcome at Barrow Golf Club. Groups of 8 players or more can book by telephoning our Administrator on 01229 825444 30 days in advance of your booking. Groups of less than 8 golfers should also contact the Administrator to discuss their requirements. Casual visitors should contact the Club Administrator or Professional on 01229 832121 for any changes to the above or for general enquiries.
Barrow Golf Club have the facilities and services in place to accommodate any size of visiting party ensuring your day will run smoothly. Below are our special visiting party packages (8 golfers or more) which provide excellent value for money. We offer competitive packages including catering that can be tailored to suit all needs.
The Clubhouse complements the splendid surroundings of Barrow Golf Club. From the lounge, you can enjoy breathtaking views and sunsets over the golf course with the Duddon Estuary & Valley and Lakeland Fells as a backdrop. Overlooking the 18th green and fairway you can enjoy a drink from the bar, or a warming cup of tea or coffee, whilst watching players make their way up the challenging final hole.

Without doubt one of the most picturesque and best courses I have played this year....and I've played some little gems this year!
Scenery was breathtaking and members really friendly. I'd love to play in the summer on a warm sunny day to take in the full views across to the hills and I.O.M.
Every hole was a different challenge, especially in the wind. Never thought I'd see the day I'd need a 5 wood on a 160yd par 3!..and still not reach it 😂....welcome to the 15th! Around 30yds uphill and into wind!!
If I'm ever back working here I will be straight on to book again. A must for any golfer

Booked for a large group for a baby shower. Due to circumstances number reduced, however Simon and the team were willing to accommodate. Excellent service from the off with communication, through to food service and bar service. Very accommodating, cannot thank Simon and the girls enough! Thank you 😊
