The surrounding scenery may be breathtaking, but the course is special too. The course is beautiful, the quality of our greens exceptional, and the changing character of each hole ensures you have an interesting and enjoyable round. Whilst there are opportunities for birdies, there are also challenging holes, and this is why the course appeals to golfers of all ages and abilities.
We are known as the "friendly" club and welcome all visitors, young and old, to come and enjoy a round of golf at our wonderful club. We are indebted to our ground staff who maintain the course in excellent condition throughout the year. During the winter months in particular, we get many visitors as we are one of the few courses open for play!

Services
Silverdale Golf Club offers memberships tailored to the needs and circumstances of our members. We offer packages based on location, age and residence, as well providing solutions for regular holiday visitors. For non-golfers, we also offer a Social membership. Our playing members have access to one of the best courses in the region at extremely competitive rates.
Silverdale Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2006. The Challenge Cup was presented by Colonel Morley Saunders to mark the club's inauguration, and this Cup is still played for today. Except for the years of the First World War when competitions were suspended, competitions and monthly medals have continued to this day.
Silverdale Golf Club is an 18-hole course set in beautiful countryside near Carnforth between Lancaster and Kendal. The course is in the "Arnside & SIlverdale AONB" (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) in view of our diversity of plants, particularly the rare Ladies Slipper Orchid.
Throughout each season, Silverdale Golf Club hosts a variety of Open Competitions. These give visitors a great opportunity to play our fantastic golf course at a very low price. They also give competitors the chance to win some great prizes! As our Opens are always well supported, it is important to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Come and play a round of golf at one of the most beautiful courses in Lancashire! We are known for being a friendly club and we will do our best to make your visit memorable (check out our testimonials). Our course is well maintained and we have superb greens. You can be assured of a varied and interesting round - and because our course has excellent drainage, we are often open when many other courses are closed.
