Our popular Open Competitions are held throughout the year, with events for all ages and abilities and excellent prizes. We also host an annual Pro-Am. We accept applications for membership throughout the year. We have created membership options designed to compliment the needs of every prospective member.
Services
I am immensely proud to have been appointed as Joint Captain of Knott End Golf Club. We have all had a challenging time over the past 12 months whether golfers or not. Hopefully we can now look forward to treading the fairways once more and I look forward to welcoming lady golfers both from our club and visiting clubs.
The KEGC Seniors Section is a very friendly and welcoming section for members aged 55 years and over. Every year we have nearly 90 members sign up to join the section at an annual cost of just 10. On this web page you will find details of the Seniors Committee, should you like more information any one of them will be happy to chat with you - OR - just turn up on a Tuesday morning and you will be made most welcome.
Jonny the Professional golf Teacher and Jayne the Junior development officer are really enjoying rolling out the new Junior Program of 2021. We are looking now to expand the children's section with new members starting from aged 5 years. If you would like your child to get into golf, please contact them via the club 01253 810576.
A Course of two halves. The first nine holes go along the side of the Estuary with fabulous views of the River Wyre. When the tide is in and the boats are sailing, teeing off on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th is breathtaking. It is hard to believe you are only a few miles from Blackpool. The back nine goes down into a valley with tree lined fairways and our signature hole (watch out ~ it can ruin your card.)
Knott End Golf Club welcomes casual golf visitors and organised group bookings. Our facilities and professional, friendly staff can handle company away days, golf society days and other group bookings of any size. I love, love, love KNOTT End, it's a tiny enclave of old fashioned England. The huge car park is free and directly on the coast promenade. I really want to go on the tiny ferry boat to Fleetwood!
Try the fish n chip shop in the village, it's fantastic.
Occasionally you will see a local flying club on the beach, practising, or people flying kites. On a clear day you can literally see for miles, up to the Lakes, down towards Blackpool or sometimes even The Isle of Man. You can watch the ferry from Heysham negotiating the wind turbines and the tidal channels. Fascinating
It's a lovely country drive

Extremely accommodating and helpful to new junior members and that’s the older members too not just the organisation, they are really encouraging the younger players to get involved in what I thought was a retired mans sport ... Jonny the clubs PRO is a fantastic coach, Keegan is thoroughly enjoying his coaching and all the advice he offers plus he makes the learning fun too. I thoroughly recommend this club for juniors and those starting out, as everyone is extremely helpful and accommodating! Big thanks to all at the club 🏌️♂️🏌️♂
