Herons' Reach is an 18 hole championship golf course designed by Peter Alliss & Clive Clark. With undulating USGA specification greens it boasts no less than 12 holes with water features on them. Distance control and accuracy are crucial if you are going take advantage of this challenging golf course.

We have a well stocked golf shop at Herons' Reach Blackpool. Situated to the rear of the hotel, our shop stocks some of the leading brands in golf along with a great prize table. Look no further for your gifts and giveaways.
Services
Herons' Reach Blackpool is the ideal location for your relaxed Society Golf Day with friends or a large-scale bespoke Corporate Golf Day with your colleagues. With an 18 hole Championship golf course and onsite Golf Academy, there is simply nothing quite like it. Let our team take the pressure away, turning the burden of organisation into an absolute pleasure.
Plan your game like a pro with a little preview of all 18 holes on the Herons' Reach course from our course expert. There should be no surprises once you've had a look and with some great tips you'll be ahead of your competition. Not the easiest hole to 'ease' yourself into the round.

The first thing you notice off of the elevated tee is the bunkers that pinch a bit of the fairway at about 230 yards, the safe play is to lay up short of these which will leave a mid iron approach to a well guarded green that tilts from back to front.Par is definitely your friend on this opening hole.

I always come with high expectations, and still walk away pleasantly surprised. What a fantastic course. Everyone in the staff is great. The course is always pristine. The routing is perfect. Well done.

My favorite course in the area while we vacation here. Design for upper level golfer but shorter tee options give every golfer an appropriate challenge.

The course is fine and staff is great but nothing about it makes it worth $69. Should be $45 at the most and in hindsight i wouldve rather drove another 15 minutes to a different course.

Given that this is a sister course of Virginia beach national I thought it would be the same quality. It's not even close. The course runs through a subdivision, so the holes are not that special. The conditions of the course were average, the greens were really beaten with the collar having poor manicured edges and crab grass growing every where, there were mushrooms growing on the course. For the same price I would 100% recommend VB national.

One of my favorite places to play a round of golf. Challenging and yet accessible for the high handicapper. Only 4 stars here because their greens took a dive this year

Course is great but the Marshall is like the Gestapo. For $60.00 he can afford to be little nicer. Cart path only and rushing players is ridiculous. There are plenty of courses to choose from and he will keep me from returning.
