The Railway Cafe
The Railway Cafe is a beautiful listed building, a railway station restored to its former glory in 1990 and opened as a cafe. The Station sits on the old Wolverhampton to Dudley railway line stretching from Aldersley all the way towards Dudley cutting through the beautiful Staffordshire countryside passing Himley Hall.

The disused line is now perfect for walkers, cyclists, family outings and horse riding. There is ample free parking and is only 2 minutes drive from the historic village of Wombourne. The cafe offers a delicious selection of freshly made food, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and is a licensed premises, so you can enjoy your favourite tipple whilst dining with us.

Just where you need a cafe, if you are walking the South Staffordshire Old Train Walk, it’s 10km or 6m from Fens Pool area, it’s then only 6km 3.5m from the theoretical end at Alderdley.

Lovely spot...authentic great sandwiches but terrible coffee from an old fashioned machine that dispenses awful coffee for Costa prices when competition at top of hill ...great coffee at less than Costa prices...
It's a shame as otherwise...if they'd only " invest" in a proper coffee machine it would be lovely...

Called in for coffee during a visit to area. What a delightful little cafe. The staff were pleasant , the outside dining area just perfect to enjoy the autumn sun. Just sorry we don't live nearer for regular visits.

Brilliant little cafe. Food is good and it's along a walk so nice to stop off and get a drink and something to eat. I have been there on a Wednesday morning when they have a deal on sandwich and a coffee for £5. Worth going as food is nice and you can always go for a walk after along the disused railway. There is a canal near with the branch locks which are very nice
