I've been in the UK for about 5 months and this is the best breakfast place I've come across so far. The Bloody Mary is on point..... I'm on my second one as we speak.
When it comes to describing the food, only one word comes to mind: AMAZING!!!!!

If you're in the Birmingham area, this place is a must.

Situated on the canal not far from Brindley Place, this is a quirky cafe, ideal for Sunday brunch. The staff were warm and welcoming.....but that's were my positivity stops.

The place had bags of potential but unfortunately we were let down by slow service. It took about ten minutes to be given menus, 25 minutes to get the coffee we ordered, and we finally ate about 50 minutes into our visit. Despite being told twice that our food will be two more minutes.

When it arrived the food was just ok. 2 our of the 4 poached eggs we ordered were overcooked. But the rest was fine.

What a delightful little place along the canal!

I stopped in for a late dinner and several specials caught my eye. I went with the pork belly. Expertly prepared over apple and cider slaw, some roasted carrots and crispy kale.

The pork belly was slow roasted to melt in your mouth perfection and in contrast the top layer of fat was crispy goodness. The waiter offered me some spicy mustard adding to the delight.

I had to call out the Chef, ask him his secret and praise him for the best pork belly I have ever experienced.

Birmingham has a bounty of good restaurants and JuJu is a standout.

Can't believe I hadn't been to this great little independent cafe before, despite working at Brindley Place for 10 years!

We arrived at just after 1pm, and we were seated straight away but I'd recommend booking to guarantee your table. We decided to go for the shared Full English platter for two, and it didn't disappoint (although they appeared to have run out of mushrooms)...I got to eat all the beans whilst hubby had all he eggs...everyone was happy.

There was a bit of a wait for our food, but this can be forgiven as they were clearly busy, yet the staff were unfailingly

Breakfast made for the gods!
If you are in need of delicious breakfast with a cute setting and friendly staff look no further.
I shared the twin breakfast with a friend and it did not dissapoint all the trimmings that you want on a breakfast. If it's a nice morning you can sit outside overlooking the canal or sit inside and keep warm.
I'd like to return and try the other menu to see if it can compete with the breakfast. Deffinately worth every penny.

I was in the last week of Uni and wanted to celebrate with my friends with a classic british brunch while enjoying the best views Birmingham could offer. Juju's did seem initially promising from the reviews but it was a little harder to find as it is located away from the main canals. Inspite of this, nothing could top the friendly service and cosy home atmosphere we received when I reached this place. The service staff were warm and loving and respectful of our food requirements. The traditional english breakfast and sunday brunch is definately one to try as it was like soul food. In addition

Had the best ever brunch in brum. From the cream to the berries, bacon to tomatoe, everything is perfectly prepared and cooked, not to mention the lovely people. Will definitely come again for a rosy morning.

We've been here for brunch a few times (amazing) and we decided to try the main menu. I went for the pinkie and perky sandwich - I'd eyed it up on the previous visits so knew what I was going for from the outset - and the wife had faggots and braised oxtail which was incredible. The whole experience completely lived up to our past visits, and we'll be heading back for another dinner date soon!

After hearing about JuJu's from friends for so long I took the plunge and Sunday morning rounded up a group of friends (mostly hungover) and headed over for brunch.

Set out the way amongst Birmingham canals the only way to describe JuJu's is a hidden gem! The brunch menu was fantastic with everything you could want and both soft, hot and alcoholic drinks available. I opted for a full English breakfast and a bloody Mary and both were fantastic. A friend had eggs benedict which did inspire food envy it looked that good and the coffee which was clearly fresh was of fantastic quality.

I have been to many places that serve English breakfast in B'ham, and this place, hands down, is one of the best so far!!
I don't know what do they add to their food to taste this good!! Even plain eggs taste different! The staff are also wonderful! They are the type that will remember your face. When I went there, the manager immediately told me that it must be my first time because she doesn't recognise my face. The location is also so lovely! You get to choose between sitting inside or outside the restaurant and you can enjoy watching the canals either way. I highly recommend

I didnt know this place existed!! In fact i didnt even know the area existed so i was really pleased when Vicky O. picked this as a place for a Yelp brunch.

Firstly im so grateful for Vicky doing a brunch. Sometimes its hard to get to Yelp events due to work commitments and i sometimes feel like i miss out and dont get to know my fellow Yelpers as well as others do - meeting for brunch in a small group was lovely.

Parking was difficult but once id driven around the local streets a bit, i got my bearings - on street parking was free on the Sunday - not sure what its like in the week though.

Fantastic place. I had this place bookmarked for a while and had forgotten about it. Was glad Vicky picked this for our Yelp Brunch.

I should've known about parking and how impossible it is to find one nearby. I had to go back to the cineworld car park (3hrs free) Was about 10min walk from there so I was late and everyone was waiting (sorry). I was half asleep as I finished late night from work and didn't get much sleep. I doubt that I made sense talking to yelpers :D.

So the place is better than I had imagined and location and view just great. Owner is just lovely and very welcoming

After seeing all the love on Yelp for Juju's, I knew I had to visit. When planning venues for our Yap on Yelp meet ups - it seemed like a great chance to go and check it out for myself and take the gang down for some Sunday Brunch. I dropped Julia an email about a week beforehand and received a prompt answer to all of my questions and confirmed the booking swiftly and without issue.

Juju's is situated on the canal, about a 5 minute walk from Broad Street or via the Gas Street Basin and the white bridge which leads to Loves restaurant and the apartments. It's not a big place, but

Breakfast Review:

Its just a few minutes walk of town, but its canal side setting is superb, especially on a summers day.

You will be greeted by the lovely Julie, a warm, wonderfully elegant character, who really knows how to look after her customers.

I have had the Full English breakfast there, but I have also had the 'Juju's hash' which is a wonderful concoction of potato, bacon, sausage, tomato, fried egg and its heaven.

The food is worth 5 stars, however, its quite expensive. Also, everything else is extra. If you are offered toast, its extra. I would expect it to come with

I went there quite a few times and the food has always been very good and the staff is simply fab (especially Julia)! I love going there for an all day breakfast at the weeekend but they also have excellent lunch and dinner menus. Specials of the day are fresh and delicious too!
The only thing that did worry me was the wine -I'm French- but even it's actually quite good too!
I've taken quite a few of my friends and my parents there and everyone loves it!

Definitely, perfect for a Sunday brunch. I went there with friends and because it was summer, we could have our food outside. Wonderful terrace next to the canals.

I'm sure that, next time I go to Birmingham, I will go back there!
