We also encourage a friendly, fair and family environment which rewards new ideas and hard work. You can pop into the florist, situated at the top right of our drive (just before the farm shop), and choose the perfect bouquet for every occasion! Karen will be there to assist with all your enquiries and help you put together the perfect flower arrangement.
Situated at the entrance to Oakes Farm Shop, our farm shop offers a wide range of delicious produce whilst supporting other local businesses. You can find fresh fruit and vegetables (Drinkwaters in Chipping Campden), fresh baked bread (delivered daily from Andrew Davies, Kenilworth) and homemade cakes & traybakes made in house by our baker Dee.

Services
The 12 year dream becomes a reality for the Oakes family with the opening of their 525 m Balsall Common farm shop, reputed to be one of the largest new builds in the UK. No strangers to farming, the Oakes' heritage dates back over 90 years. From the humble beginnings of an 'honesty box' placed on the edge of the farm, Gary and his wife Jayne were determined to create an outlet for local producers to promote their wares.

We will be serving breakfasts until midday (2:30pm on a Sunday) and light lunches until our cafe closes. We are taking bookings for tables, however please be aware that we have lesser tables than normal due to still social distancing, so we will be limiting bookings to allow for some walk-ins. If the sun comes out, we will open our outside seating, however these tables can not be pre-booked and will be for walk-ins only.
Our butchery sells a wide variety of produce, some of which has been reared on our own farm. We place great stock on the welfare of our animals during their lives and rest assured that our animal husbandry of our chosen suppliers is of the highest standards. We are delighted that the expansion of our business has provided the vehicle to showcase some of the region's top quality local produce.
We are situated within easy reach of Knowle and Solihull and well serviced by the surrounding motorway links for those travelling from further afield. You can find us using postcode CV7 7AQ for Sat Nav users and for map readers we are located along the B4101 (the main road between Knowle and Balsall Common).

Had the most disappointing club sandwich ever! The fresh produce was decimated. The chicken so dry and bacon was like leather. We asked for one without Mayo and tomatoes but they did both without. To top it off they were £9.99 each. The staff were very polite and lovely but sorry would not go again!

A very local cafe and farm shop. Excellent range of food for sale and friendly staff. I wish there was more outdoor seating for dog walkers as dogs are not allowed in the indoor area which is understandable but also not allowed in the fenced outdoor area which is more difficult to understand. A bit of an own goal in an area full of dog walkers! So far just 2 tables available for dog walkers but these were occupied by cylclists when we last visited.
