Ryburn Golf Club
Your Captain, Michael Haigh and Lady Captain, Ruth Jackson welcome you to our friendly club. Ryburn Golf Club is situated on the hillside at Norland just a couple of miles away from Ripponden and Sowerby Bridge and has outstanding views of the Calder and Ryburn valleys. The course is nine holes but with 18 different tee positions it makes for a challenging course.

We look forward to meeting you! SPONSORS WEBSITE LINKS. THE LINKS FOR THE FOLLOWING SPONSORS WEBSITES ARE FOUND UNDER THE MEMBERSHIP HEADING MENU. Ryburn Golf Club wish to thank all our sponsors for their support and adverts on our website.
Services
Membership enquiries can be made using the Contact Us page or be contacting the club through their Facebook page. Aged 21 starts at 150 rising to 570 at age 35. Please use the Contact Us page or message us on Facebook to find what your exact membership fee will be. All playing members must also pay the appropriate Yorkshire & England Affiliation Fee of 12.70 for men and 16 for ladies.
We are delighted that Ruth has agreed to stay on as Lady Captain for a second year and hopefully this year she will be able to host the usual prize givings and arrange the social events that were absent in 2020. Pam Wandsworth has accepted Ruth's invitation to be Lady Vice Captain and all the Ladies Committee agreed to stay on for another year to support Ruth and Pam.
As Rabbit Captain for the 2021 season I wish to send a warm welcome to all members new and old, and hope everyone is able to enjoy a full and eventful season of golf. I am calling on all Rabbit golfers to take advantage of a full and varied calender of golf arranged on your behalf. So come on dust down those clubs, practice your swing and let's hit those fairways together.
We offer 9 hole social golf throughout the year. 9 Hole Friday League (individual Stableford) is open to all members playing as few or as many evenings as you like. The top ten point scorers go through to a fun knockout final at the end of the year with all 10 players teeing off on the first and a player dropping out each hole until the two finalists battle it out on the 9th!
The objective of the 100 Club is to raise money for the development of our golf club by running a monthly prize draw of which 50% of monies raised will be returned as prizes. It is hoped to eventually have 100 members but even from day 1 there will be a monthly prize of 100, the number and size of the prizes being increased as more members sign up.

Lovely little 9 hole course. Sat upon the hillside. Has its own challengers. Your aim has to be good or you need to be able to compensate for the wind up there as well. The ladies were kind enough to let me play with them. Brilliant team that they have. Very welcoming and homely feel. Would definitely play again.

9 hole course with some difficult holes, only negative would be that some holes are to close and it could be dangerous. Having said that I thoroughly enjoyed my round of golf there and the club house was very friendly
