Hebden Bridge Golf Club
Hebden Bridge Golf course is situated above the towns of Hebden Bridge & Mytholmroyd, some 1,000 feet above sea level. The course is laid out on a hill side making use of the natural contours of the land which offers a challenge for golfers of all levels.

Although relatively short at just over 5200 yards, the combination of the terrain and the prevailing weather conditions, ensure that you have to place your shots carefully in order to record a good score. The course is 'nine holes twice' where there are 9 greens, but 18 different tee positions. Over the years the greens have developed subtle borrows which can confuse all but the best putters.

From small to large functions, seating up to 100 people - all your requirements including catering, are specifically tailored to your needs with a range of menu's to suit all budgets.
Shots will naturally tend to go right on landing but be careful not to go too far right or you could end up over the second fairway facing a long shot to the green. Predominant westerly wind direction on this hole is assisting so be careful not to go too far or else you could run out of fairway and end up in the rough!

Played Saturday morning before the Medal started. Nice experience. Very misty to start, but soon cleared. Course was in pretty good condition. Good greens and fairways. Tees not the best.
A couple of the holes in the middle are a little hit and miss, but enjoyed the 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th. Would definitely play here again if visiting the area.
Very helpful staff and members. Views are great. Could definitely benefit with a few arrows and directions to next Tees. In fairness I didn't have a scorecard, so a map may well be on that.
Overall... Very good 😁

Played on the 22nd of May 2018. Left me regretting that I did not have time to play another nine. Yes it was rough and ready, raw golf, but that is its charm. This course has some of the most spectacular holes I have ever played. The first, what a hole, but the 8th a par 3 for me was the stand out hole. There is a good mix of holes and outstanding views in all directions a real treat for the senses. Played 486 courses, its hard to remember some of them but this one I will always remember and it is one I would choose to play again. Congratulations to all the members who value and support this unique
