Bridge Road Barbell Club
Bridge Road Barbell Club, in Camberley, Surrey, UK, is a strength and conditioning gym geared up for those who are serious about getting results. Deadlift overload movements My deadlift has made significant progress since I stopped relying on heavy overload movements to massage my ego. I am a big fan of using a variety of exercises to build the deadlift, but for a long time when my deadlift was not going as well, it was all too tempting to.

It holds no worth if you can't identify what they are! Here's a hint. If you are disproportionately good at a variation, and can heavily overload the exercise beyond your competition max. To all Bridge Road Barbell Members (past and present) I hope this email finds you well. I thought I would take an opportunity first to thank those of you who have continued to support the gym throughout the period where the gym has been closed down.
Services
Always sign in at reception when you come to the gym. This is so we can monitor gym usage and that we know who is on the premises, and at what times, for insurance reasons. Try to greet people when entering the gym, and be friendly and courteous to other members. Also make an effort to say goodbye to people when you leave.
Get strong, fit, learn new skills and make friends. This class is dedicated to bodyweight training for strength, power, flexibility and general fitness. Minimal equipment usage, lots of new and interesting methods including skills drawn from gymnastics.

This class is aimed at those looking to get into strongman training and is also suitable for those competing or thinking about competing in strongman or strongman competitions and wanting to get used to some of the special equipment and techniques involved. This is less of a fitness class and more aimed at strength primarily.
I've been a member of BRB for 7+ years. Signing up to this gym has been one of the best decisions I've made. I would not want to train anywhere else. This is a very strong gym which is a fantastic environment to learn and grow and perfect whether you are a novice lifter, experienced lifter or athlete.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality
After debating joining here, coming from a commercial gym, I have never looked back and is certainly worth every penny! The people, environment and equipment are of the highest quality. If you’re looking to take your training to the next level this is the place.

Fantastic powerlifting and strong man gym! With a wide range of equipment to suit all, lots of different bars and all the strong man equipment this gym is a strength athletes dream. Its clean and ran well with an owner who walks the talk. Passionate and knowledgeable about training, he's usually training in the gym himself and always happy to help and answer questions.

Best gym in the local area. I like being able to get on the equipment when I need. A proper non-commercial gym for hard workers.
