Long overdue to write this. Horrible contracts that don't work in the student's interests, incredibly awful to say the least. Staff are rude and dismissive when taking in your concerns and made a transfer of contract stressful. Then they take ages to give you the money back, but mind you, they won't allow the same if you did the same to them! Any fresher willing to sign on with them, avoid at all costs.

AWFUL SCAM ARTISTS
Student cribs Manchester is a disgrace a pure scam would not recommend. We pay £130 a week for what? These con artists promote the flat 'features' on their website none of these were found in the flat staff had no idea what we were talking about. Flat was dirty on arrival my room had black mould on the ceiling which is extremely dangerous. I contacted them 3 times about this I believe it took them 3 weeks to sort it. We had to contact them many times about giving every tenant a set of keys for the flat as they weren’t provided when we moved in. The drive was covered in rubbish

It was impossible to contact the local rep who was meant to be in charge locally. She ignored emails, calls & messages, & only rang back after I contacted the London office twice. Then she didn't send the promised email & returned to being uncontactable.
Any contact had to be through the London Office, and phone calls and emails are usually not answered or returned.
Avoid this company. They might be fine if you have no problems but if you do they are worse than useless.

Money hungry company over charging for minor damages, over priced rent for size of house and quality of interior, terrible communication, didn't notifty of visits within 24hrs, what else could you ask for. Only decent thing about this company is their maintence man shaq.

The new maintenance guy Shaq is really down to earth, extremely helpful, and is the best part of our experience renting 👍 Dealing with student cribs themselves is quite a long and painful process to get anything sorted in your house, unless you owe them money then they seem to be on the ball. When we moved into the property the garden was overgrown and wasn't usable even though student cribs had told us they were going to sort it, they then "Sent someone round". No one came to sort it out and we had to clear it ourselves, they then told us this was just since the last tenants which I find hard

Terrible. I wouldn't recommend at all. Student cribs are incredibly unprofessional and caused way more stress than necessary. We were never made aware of when work was taking place, 2 weeks before our dissertation was due workers began working on our roof causing a lot of noise. People were constantly coming in and out of the house for work and inspections, which was annoying and caused a lot of anxiety in the house. Constant issues with water and heating, as well. We were overcharged massively. When I signed my contract it was for £550, next thing I know I'm paying almost £700 a month for one

Had a terrible experience while trying to get a house with this company. I had 2 viewings booked and they didn't even show up to either viewing and completely wasted my time. After multiple phone calls to them endeavouring to figure out why they didn't show up, they did nothing to compensate me or reschedule viewings for me, and their excuse was they didn't see their calendar, despite my booking having been made. Terrible service. The 1 star rating is quite generous actually, because I couldn't rate it no stars. Absolutely appalled.

Absolutely awful. The only reason I'm even giving 1 star is because I can't give 0. I'm also convinced all the good reviews are written by staff to keep their rating up. From the get go the service has been massively unprofessional. When in the contract stage, they attempted to charge us more than was advertised, and wen we called to question it, they tried to convince us that was the correct price - we had to send them screenshots from the websites to prove that they were wrong and get the rent in the contract put back to what it should have been! Since moving in things have gotten no better.

Gorgeous house, modern and warm. Students cribs always answer our queries quickly and have been really helpful. They send out surveys regularly to ensure student voices are heard. Best agency I've had in my 4 years at uni

I was recently approched by Student Cribs to photograph a block of flats in hundderfeild. The flats where at a high standard all style perfectly which made my job very easy to photograph. Overall a great company to work for! Look forwards to working you these guys again!
