We liked the look of this place from the outside but inside, itās strange. You enter via what looks like someoneās lounge and I actually apologised to two people on a sofa, as I entered. I thought Iād walked in to private residence.
The dining area was small but we were informed there are two dining rooms.
The baked Camembert was brilliant BUT if youāre charging Ā£3 for a Diet Coke, use a big enough glass so you donāt have to leave the canā¦ā¦yes, a can, on the table. It completely crushes the thought of āvalue for moneyā.

This is a very nice area with a nice river running thought the centre.
The Hotel is a very nice place, clean and smart. The restaurant was excellent.
The room was a let down, although advertised as a 4 poster room with on suite bathroom with complimentary fruit bowl with tea and coffee making facilities.
Yes the room did have a 4 poster (the roof of which had a funny stain) the fruit bowl was a wrinkly apple and an orange but the bathroom was fantastic, spacious and with a bath in the middle of the floor with plenty room for 2!
