The Bradley was built around 1845 when tree-lined Bayshill Road was just being developed with exclusive villas on one side and elegant town houses on the other. During recent renovations to room four we discovered, after stripping years of paint from a mantelpiece, the signature J.Bradley scratched into the top, we have recently discovered this was John Bradley.
Our guests have exclusive use of the lounge which is infused with all the classic de Savary family refined charm and quirky touches. You will find luxurious sofas to curl up on, fresh flowers, a warming fireplace, chess and many other games and interesting reads. A cup of English breakfast tea and a slice of homemade cake offer the perfect accompaniment to an indulgent hour with your favourite novel.
Our rooms are all high specification rooms with quality contemporary bathrooms, newly re-carpeted and decorated in 2018 and all mod-cons. On arrival you will welcomed by your host. In your room, you will find a generously stocked hospitality tray and luxurious Penhaligon's toiletries in the bathroom.
We support our business guests in every way, by offering quick, quiet and efficient service. Breakfast in a bag if you need to get on the road quickly pre-ordered at check in and ready from 7am onwards. We can arrange a dry cleaning or laundry service for our guests who stay for several days.

We've stayed here before in response to Trip Advisor reviews and once again we were not disappointed. Lovely clean room, very comfortable bed and delicious full English breakfast. Again the staff were as helpful as ever. From the minute we walked in it felt like a home with lots of thoughtful extras in our room and the communal lounge.

Well where can I start … we booked this place as it was advertised on the daily telegraph as one of the best hotels in Cheltenham with the AA five star rating. But the “for sale” sign outside the property should have warned us of what we were to encounter inside. The supposedly boutique style hotel as advertised was just a shabby run down bed and breakfast. We had paid £120 for a room with balcony. What we got was a tiny room and a dirty decked balcony which was accessed through the window by climbing onto a wooden box!! It was the most uninviting balcony I had ever seen. The room and the
