This led me to establish Whoisbenjamin Photography back in 2016. From here you can see some of the many weddings and events I have been so lucky to be a part of. Services
Born and raised in Somerset, I joined the armed forces straight from school, and served for 5 years. I lived in Germany and served in many other countries. Following my career in the forces I worked in various roles. After leaving I struggled to find a sense of passion and belonging. Then photography came into my life.
First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your news to marry! And thank you for visiting my website in your search for a Documentary Wedding Photographer. You have found one! Your wedding will be a big day, so planning all the small details is very important. Every little aspect will have been given great thought and consideration.
We contacted Ben some time in 2019 as a photographer for our wedding. From the start he was responsive helpful and enthusiastic. Nothing felt like too much trouble and he seemed genuinely excited about our ideas.
We had a pre-wedding photoshoot in June with Ben and although I am very nervous the whole thing felt very relaxed and we were completely delighted with the photos, you can tell Ben puts a lot of thought and care into his photoshoots and it really shows.

After much demand from the Instagram community I created my first ever preset pack. This pack contains 7 Lightroom presets that will be a great base edit for your moody, outdoor portrait photos. My personal favourite, and most widely used "The Surround". Used most effectively in natural earthy enviroment's as seen at Instagram: @whoisbenjamin.

Well where do I begin.
My wife and I along with our 4 year old daughter had a photo shoot with Ben recently on a trip to Cornwall. Following Bens recommendation we headed to the beach for an evening shoot, just as the sun was setting.
Ben was so knowledgeable and knew how to get an amazing shot. His attentiveness to detail was second to none and he made us all feel calm and natural to ensure he captured stunning photos, which he did!
Photographers I used in the past seem a little old fashioned and take photos which seem staged. Ben is very modern in his style and approach to photography, capturing

Wow.. we got our wedding photos back last week and we're blown away.
Ben is so friendly and professional. We wanted a laid back photographer who could capture all the natural moments in our day and he did just that. He made sure to go through everything with us thoroughly and check what we wanted and needed.
I can't recommend him enough!! Our big day was beautiful, but even more so because of Ben's hard work

Whoisbenjamin was the photographer for our wedding this year. Benjamin was great to work with and we absolutely love our photos which captured the day beautifully. Our only complaint was there were so many great photos we had trouble picking our favorites!

A massive thank you to Ben! From the get go he has been fantastic, he is such an approachable person and his friendly attentive manner made us feel so relaxed in our pre shoot and on our wedding day and our guests commented how chilled out they felt. We are the least romantic couple but with Ben's skills and direction we have got some fantastic shots of our special day. Sadly some of our family couldn't come due to travel restrictions abroad but Ben was able to offer a solution and we were able to adapt our package to include a recording of our ceremony to share with people who couldn't be there

Ben did a surprise proposal shoot for my fiancee and I, we can honestly say it couldn't have gone any better!
We shot at Durdle door on a bank holiday weekend and he was lovely enough to meet us bright and early to shoot. He suggested the best spot for me to pop the question and was waiting there in his bright orange shorts. He gave nothing away and was super professional.
Ben made my fiancee and i feel super comfortable and was extremely pleasant and patient with us. What a wonderful memory and experience for us both. Cannot recommend him enough! Please don't hesitate to book!

Do not hesitate to book Ben for any type of photography you need. Ben helped me surprise my partner as I proposed to her and took some truly incredible pictures with us in a lavender field. He made us feel so comfortable throughout the shoot and we are beyond delighted with the pictures. His communication throughout the planning and editing process right up to the final product was second to none. Thanks so much Ben!

Ben was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. We are both quite uncomfortable in front of the camera but he put us at ease from the very start. Ben's easy going and relaxed nature was the perfect fit for our day, and many of our guests commented on how how 'cool' he was! We are over the moon with the photos Ben took of our day and were very impressed with how quickly he got them back to us. Could not recommend this photographer more.

We’re so happy we booked Ben for our wedding! Such a talented photographer and lovely to work with! Neither of us are used to being in front of the camera but Ben made us feel completely relaxed. Ben even came to the rescue with our last minute idea of filming the wedding for relatives abroad. Our photos are more perfect than we could have hoped for and all our friends & family have been raving about them. Oh and not to forget Ben pulled this off with a full day of rain and indoors shooting only! Even the way our photos & video were delivered to us was so thoughtful, above & beyond what we expected
